Wendy's — Restaurant in Jamestown Charter Township

I ordered my burger with no tomatoes and it had tomatoes. No big deal I told the young lady at the window it had tomatoes. She first asked, “oh did you want us to fix it?” I said yes because I did specifically say no tomatoes. She took the burger, then less than 30 seconds she handed it back. When I checked I still saw some of the tomato seeds and juice and it was obvious they took the big piece off and gave it back to me. When I asked for a refund as I know you just took the tomato off, she said I’m just 16 so I don’t know what they did to your burger, I don’t make them. I asked for the manager a different gentleman came to the window and asked if I wanted remade. I was honest and said at this point I don’t trust it and he walked away and the manager Heaven, I believe was her name. He forgot to close the sliding window so when he walked away I heard him talking to his coworkers talking about me and that I wouldn’t take a new burger. I told them they forgot the window was open and they moved to the back of the kitchen. I’ve worked at Wendy in the past. I’ve never heard of removing the incorrect item from sandwiches and giving them back. Further, to degrade me and my decision for a refund in front of me what not just disrespectful it was plain rude. I will never go to this establishment again. I feel frustrated because I was about to pay $7.50 plus for just a burger single. I literately said please no tomatoes. It’s odd to put them on anyway and get frustrated with me because you made a mistake. I hope Heaven or Heavenly does better in the future. Me and my friend went to this location for the first time. We can both say the food was very satisfactory to say the least. The nuggies were so scrumnchous and hot. All of the staff were very nice and very helpful to us. It was busy during the time that we went but that was no trouble for the staff at all! Me and my friend also go to experience the coke freestyle machine. We really loved all of the great options that Wendy’s had to offer. We ordered the giant JBC (isn’t very well known, until now of course ;) We also ordered a few large fries. You can never go wrong with the Dave’s Cream (the drink). It was very good. This isn’t a complaint but rather a suggestion...I do feel like they should bring back the family nuggets (50 piece). Me and my family could eat that thing up in no time. My family and I would usually get three family nuggets. My family of 4 could each manage to eat 37.5 nuggets each. Going on to the secret menu items, I really appreciate them serving the cheesy cheddar burger. It is yummy in my tummy. I do wish that Wendy’s would make this but it would come in a sextuple style. Overall, Wendy’s is a great family place and they are excellent for kids. I also like the kids toys. I would recommend coming to this location because of the amazing staff and management. Please read! Do yourself a favor and do not purchase food from this location. If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with them, missing food, wrong food, and at this final time inedible food. It was 9 o’clock after I got off of work and I ordered through the app. I ordered a baked potato, which they had more than enough time to make fresh. They just didn’t want to. When I got there, they said they were “out of potatoes” so he gave me a plain fry which was significantly less than I prepaid for and I was not offered any form of refund. The fries we did get were so salty that we couldn’t even eat them. I’m not talking I should have ordered light salt. These were so salty that they were just Disgusting. Finally the worst part, my chicken sandwich was soggy and had multiple human hairs in it (I was pulling hair out of my mouth🤮.) Every time I come here, it is a bunch of teenage boys that I don’t believe are very hygienic nor do they even care about their job. The last time my food was wrong, I went in, and the kid was on his phone for several minutes before he even acknowledged me. I called four times and the phone just rang with no answer. I even called customer service and they did nothing but an empty promise of a refund that never showed up.
