This is a to-go only spot, so don't expect to dine in! Limited menu items which keeps the strengths on the fresh food prepared quickly.

My favorite item is the volcano bowl, though the large chunks of yellow/white onion I've gotten in my bowl the last couple of times I ordered it can overpower the fish (and have other humans and some housepets avoiding you for the rest of the day from the breath 🥲) so I recommend going light on the onion or requesting a little green onion instead.

When available, they also have an excellent generous portion of seaweed salad for a great price. Pairs especially well with spicier bowls.

The medium bowl size is quite large and will likely be plenty for many diners. Large has proven to be too much for me, and I'm a, erm, happy eater 🤣 Generous protein helpings in each bowl I've tried.

I've enjoyed everything I've had here, although since it's a small place, a few times some items have been out of stock, so if you're having a big craving and it's a bit of a drive for you, call ahead and make sure they have...

First time I've had anything like this. The choices were large but not overwhelming. The portion size was plentiful ( generous ) for a medium. I like the mark your choices on a wipe off menu so there was no repeating and I had time to consider choices. I had the teriyaki ahi make your own bowl. Admittedly, I didn't want too spicy, and it was great ,but I failed to add something with a little more crunch or kick. I tried a bite of a spiced ahi, and I think the two would have given the bit of kick with the sweetness. While there, they had some Hawaiian pulled pork to try - another reason to come back. My choices will be more difficult next time, especially when I hear the bakery is on the back or front side. I didn't walk in ,but they had a fridge with choices. The cheesecake sampler was delicious with a great variety. I look forward to returning when I'm in the area and trying more. It has me feeling confident enough in them, that I'd like to try the seaweed...

I've been waiting for 808 Poke to be listed on Google to leave them a review. It has been a favorite spot since their opening day! The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I love being able to customize my bowl or choose from ones they have carefully crafted. I wish the spam musubi was a daily choice, it's definitely a favorite!

My favorite is the shoyu tuna! And those kimchi cucumbers are to die for! I'm do glad Janesville has a poke spot and I will definitely be back for more! Between my husband and I we are there essentially every week! I love that they've been able to expand hours and be open more.
