Wow! Had the fish fry friday night. It was one of the best I have had in a while. The cod fish was perfectly golden and not too thick. I had the potato patties (they call them pancakes). Delicxx. Lighty herbed and crispy. They serve them with applesauce! Who would have thought? But it was great 👍. Came with an average cup of tartar sauce, coleslaw that was just a touch on the vinegary side, and a soft dinner roll. Tasty meal and only 1.50 maybe for an extra peice of fish. My friend had the same, except she had the garlic mashed potatoes and said they were perfect. And, she finished ALL of hers! She never does that. Nice folks working there. We absolutely love Fast Eddy’s and have since we moved to the area. We live right down the street and frequent quite often. That being said, the service has gone down hill significantly. Whenever we call to try and place an order for pickup we are usually on hold for five minutes or more and no one answers. If you aren’t a regular, regular you will be ignored by cooks and bartenders. Bartenders will be gone from the bar for ten minutes or more with a busy bar. We’ve experienced cooks messing up our food and then getting mad and rolling their eyes, scoffing at us. Just spent the last few hours at this bar and my heart just feels so full. Spent time sitting with the owners and bar tenders just chatting and sharing laughs and stories. Heard so much love and support of each other being shared no matter what our background was and who we love or be. That as long as we are kind that’s all that matters. Knowing that there is a community of people that will always be such a huge voice of support for our community especially right now. There is an attacking being on the queer community starting with drag and the fact every month drag bingo sells out and has repeated customers and inside jokes between groups.
