The dinner buffet was partly what I expected. There were a few variations of chicken and seafood dishes, but no pork or beef was available. The two soups were old, and there was a crusty film on top. The soup handles left a tacky residue on my hands. I was probably the first person to touch them after they opened for the day a couple days ago. The buffet serving tables kept the food warm, but the steam from the food collected in the hood and dripped down onto other dishes and on my hands and plate. There was water near a bucket on the floor near the buffet. I didn't inspect, but it's likely from a roof leak. There's no other reason for the water and bucket in that spot. The floors right outside of the kitchen were oily and slippery, and then the floors transitioned to sticky and tacky around the buffet. The inside of the restaurant is very old and dated. There are gashes on the wall dividers from years of chairs sliding against them. When you add it all up, this place isn't worth going to. This is likely just another Chinese restaurant that reopens under new management or a name change every time the problems pile on and they get shut down. I would not recommend this...
Read moreJust got a buffet to go. When I wanted dessert, which if you eat in, it's included on the buffet. The guy working there said you only get one box and you're supposed to put the dessert in the same box with the regular food. I told him I can't put a dessert in with the hot food. So he told a kid working there (in his non English language) something and the kid came back with another box, which I put my dessert in. As I was leaving, the woman who was working there, stopped me at the door when I was leaving. She told me you only get one box, if you get another one, you have to pay for it. I told her the same thing as I told the guy at the buffet. I asked her if you eat in, you get dessert too, right? She said yes, but it has to be in the same box. We went back and forth, and she said it's okay this time, but the next time you have to pay for another box. Which is ridiculous. On a side note, the broccoli and rice is good, the General Tso, not so much. The people there are not friendly, AT ALL. They're rude when you walk in and pay, and they're definitely rude when you leave. Don't forget folks, 1 box! Needless to say, I won't be going back. I definitely wouldn't...
Read moreI was walking to the desert bar with a plate. One of the kitchen help came through the kitchen doors like a raging bull elephant. My left foot was on carpeting and my right foot was coming down on, unknown to me, was a greasy tile floor. I tried to stop so I would not get hit. My foot slipped on the greasy floor. I Hyper extended my knee, did something to my right hip and injured my lower back trying to avoid getting hit. I have been in constant pain now and even more so when I am walking or standing for 7 days now! It's highly unlikely I will ever be hungry enough to go back to this unsafe dangerous place! If you choose to go to this place be wary of the area near the kitchen doors. Especially if you are older, move slowly or injured. The floor is greasy and the kitchen help charges through the outward swinging doors like no one is within 100 yds. Caveat Emptor! As far as the food it's about average. The crab rangoon was burned up that day. Lots of kinds of chicken but not much else in the way of meat. They did have what appeared to be boiled fish but that's not for me. The yellow rice was good. But like I said...
