Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Jay

For over 2 years I had a 5 star review. It's changed. Today I ordered 3 drinks. 2 large 1 medium at 510pm on Thursday 08-29-2024. I arrived at 523pm. Pulled Into stall 1 and checked in on app. waited until 547pm and the screen said James was bringing out our order. At 549pm The sign changed to push button for order. At 552 pm, 42 minutes after i ordered 3 drinks. I finally pushed the button. The person said the manager was coming out. The "manager" came to the truck with a small bag. I said I didn't order that I ordered drinks. He said, "What did you order?" I said never mind I gotta go. Ordered 3 drinks 45 minutes ago, and now you have no clue even what i ordered? I aint got time to wait i gotta go. Just refund my money. He said, "If I can find it ill think about it" I told him my name and said, refund my money I gotta go. I had three slushes. My order was $6.25. I ordered a large grape slush, large strawberry slush and a medium lemonade slush. I WILL get my money back. I won't be back to Sonic until that incompetent clown of a manager is gone. Please know I will not stop until you refund my money. I haven't heard anything good about this Sonic. I have only had a few problems until now and that's why you had a 5 star review for over the last two years from me. Your manager...

Half the time we go here our order is messed up but we’re understanding, however, tonight we ordered 2 chili cheese coneys with ketchup, mustard, and onions on the side. The screen wasn’t working so we couldn’t see the order. When they came out he read back extra mustard, onions, and relish. I asked “on the side correct?” He said “no.” We opened them to find them overloaded with relish and mustard. I explained that we wanted the onions, ketchup and mustard on the side like we always ordered and he argued with me. Actually argued about it and said we could buy more! I called back in to see how much just a hot dog was and he wanted to argue some more over the speaker then told me it was $1.50 more than the chili cheese coneys. Now we’re stuck with chili cheese dogs no one will eat and we can’t share with the dogs bc they put the onions on them. We understand it can be hard to hear over the speakers and would have just asked to fix 1 of them or even bought another one but to actually argue with the customer about it...

This location usually keeps good help. They are always curtious and do theit best to get your meal out to you as soon as possible. If your not there during their rush hour or when they jyst have a lot of people there outside of rush hour then you can usually expect your meal within 5 to 10 minutes for a single person order. Usually 10 to 15 on a 2 or more person order depending on how busy they are. They seldom get an order wrong. And would maybe even give them a 5 star review but I found the restroom to be a bit unsanitary on one visit. Hsvnt used them again since so dont kniw if this is common or a one time thing. Maybe a customer or some kids had just been in there before I was. Who knows. Not ready to condemn them on a single use of their restrooms. I will have to try and remember to use their facilities more often and get a better idea of whats common. I would possibly give them still a 4 1/2 star still yet if that...
