We ordered bruschetta and a 6 piece pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza for appetizers. My wife got a type of seafood Alfredo but it was a white sauce with red wine I believe. She really liked it. I ordered an Italian sample platter. The gnocchi were very good as well as the spaghetti the two different ravioli were average, they were good but average. The bruschetta was very good, I can't think of anywhere else that has a better bruschetta. The pizza is alright, the cheese on it was very good, the pepperoni was alright and the crust is ok. The sausage on the pizza was kinda of mild with no real flavor. I really did like the taste of the sauce on the pizza I wished there would of been a little more sauce on it. But I guess they know what their regular customer's like. Our server was top notch. She was very good at her job. My wife also got an order of garlic bread it was very good. Our salads were good. I was a little surprised that they don't have a hot loaf of bread served with the meal. Lived around here my whole life and never ate here before, I don't know why it's just one of those things. But I will go back. The meatball I had was good. There is a reason they have been in business as long as they have been. It's because they serve quality food made from good...
Read moreBrother and I have been looking for stellar Italian restaurants to eat at. Seen this one figured let's give it a shot. The building is beautiful so gave good vibes about what the food quality possibly could have been. Ordered the fried provolone sticks and they were average at best. Had better cheese sticks from an Eat n Park than these. Sauce was awful and that carried over to our Entrées. My Brother ordered Chicken Parm as he always does looking for the best of the best. What he got was a piece of Tyson Chicken flashfried with unmelted cheese on top. Basic unsalted spaghetti noodles all covered in sauce that was pure water. Basically was tomato soup with chicken in it. I ordered the Pasta platter. Ravioli Gnoochi Spaghetti and a Meatball. Again super unsalted bland pasta and watery tomato soup sauce. Literally tasted like microwave Ragu sauce. Big disappointment and will never return. Better Italian food from your local...
Read moreWe have been to DeNunzio’s often for Friday date night but this was the last … we were seated in bar as requested but didn’t get silverware and the server was very rude about it like it was our fault also it took a long time to get a bar drink and no they were not busy… then when we ordered a refill she sat the drink down and she asked if we were done? No we just got the drink…our entree came she didn’t check up to see if everything was ok….it was very good can’t complain about food… then she laid our check down didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks or desert… after a few minutes the server then attempted to reach across me for the check… that has never happened to me before it was extremely rude we were still enjoying our evening and the drink we had to ask for again…. she just seemed like she couldn’t be bothered and wanted to get out of the there…such a shame because the food is good just not worth going for...
