This was our first visit and they have done a nice job up dating the place. Although entering was confusing because the sign "to seat yourself" was on the bar side. It was busy on the bar side. Tables with big groups, young families, and couples. The bar itself was almost half full. We sat on the dining side. It was Friday night about 6:30 and it was not as busy. Only 2 tables had patrons. Our services was fast and the specialty cocktails were very good. The prices are very reasonable. I got the fish and shrimp basket, the spouse the crispy chicken with a side of the bang bang sauce, and our friends got the meatball hoagie sans bread. Everyone enjoyed the main course tremendously. The coleslaw is very good. The only disappointment were the chips which were not crispy at all. In fact when you picked one up it literally flopped right over. We probably should have told the server but we did not, but otherwise everything else was very good. We...
Read moreWoodyâs and Sportsmanâs when I was growing up. I always visit this place when I am in town, regardless of what itâs called. It was empty for a while and then Frankoâs. The layout is pretty much the same and Frankoâs always had a sewage smell they couldnât get a handle on which killed it for me. Overall, J-town looks really good compared to my last few visits.
CHâs has definitely upped their game from past concepts. Overall interior still has that lounge mentality but the food selections and drinks have turned it up a notch. You can tell they are watching their labor costs by running things tight, but the food costs are probably way up. Something has to give. But the product is really good, I am impressed.
I would eat here at least once a week if I was still around. Prices are very good for what you get. Another win for the...
Read more9/6/23âThis was our first visit to the restaurant. . Once a month we meet for a girlfriends get together. I believe we may of found our new restaurant of choice. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Wish they were open for lunch weekdays and weekends. Would generate a lot of business for those people out shopping and off from work on weekends. Restaurant opens daily at 4:00 pm. I believe even though it is considered a âSports Barâ, I would feel comfortable bringing a family of all ages. Our only dislike was that to enter the restaurant, you must go through the bar side of the building. Although there is another door that may eventually enable patrons to enter directly into the dining room, at the present time it is...
