I used to frequent this McDonalds three times a week, easily. Sometimes I would eat there for breakfast and lunch, as I work nearby. About a month ago I went through the drive thru and ordered my usual, a large fry (no salt) and a large diet dr. pepper in a Styrofoam cup. (I’m sure the staff is very familiar with my order). Well on this day I received the wrong drink, or something was off about the taste, not sure. I decided to dump it out and simply go in and refill the drink myself. Mind you, I could have went in and acted a fool, but I’ve worked fast food in the past and this wasn’t a big deal. I simply wanted the correct drink. An older lady, wearing a back brace was cleaning around the soda machine when I walked in. She saw me and immediately went to get the manager/shift leader. In a dining room full of people, the manager accosted me and accused me of stealing the soda. "did you pay for that?" she asked. I told her yes, I did. Then the female employee in the back brace very rudely yelled "SHE CAME STRAIGHT FROM OUTSIDE!" I was really caught off guard and very upset, I could feel my face getting hot. I left immediately for fear of losing my cool and embarrassing myself further. Once I got back to work I couldn’t even eat my food because I was still so angry. It is unbelievable to me that someone could look at me and think "thief" when the only reason I had to come inside the restaurant was because the staff got my order wrong. Why was this employee not concerned that something was wrong with my order? Or that something may be wrong with the drive thru drink machine? Why was I so instantly assumed to be stealing? I thought about just letting it go, but today at work another coworker mentioned a bad experience at this location and after we shared stories I decided I would share my experience online as well. Let it be known that the employees at this location will NEVER have to worry about accusing me of theft again because I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere. I am going to find out if the people who own this location own others in the area and I will continue to not eat at those...
Read moreAbsolutely awful! Brand New remodel but awful awful service. Food took way too long to receive in a nearly empty restaurant. Order was wrong. What was missing was in a bag, on the warmer, and none of them at the front could figure out which order it went with. Then 2 people came in from ordering in the drive thru and had incorrect orders, too! 10 minutes before we were leaving a woman went to the counter to say there was a large spill in front of an exit and she requested (very nicely) that someone may want to clean it up because it spanned the doorway and you couldn't get out without stepping in it. They said ok and after she left said things like "well I just work here it's not my job to clean," and other snide remarks. No one is at the counter, all the workers are standing around, and not one of them cleans up the spill! It's still there 10 minutes later when we go to leave and we have to use the other door because we don't want our kids walking through the spill and tracking it into our vehicle. So we go outside and there's 2 workers on break hanging all over each other and smoking. We were just driving through so of course won't be back regardless but I've honestly never had this bad of an experience at at McDonald's....
Read moreMy buddy and I go to a McDonald's often on our way to school. We never went to this one until yesterday, January 26th, 2016, a date that will forever live in infamy. First off we ordered our food and the person taking our order tried to make it cheaper but ended up taking off two sandwiches. We recognized her error and asked if the two sandwiches were still there on our order. She said yes and told us to pull forward. At the first window we encountered on of the most odd things that anyone can encounter. The gentleman opened the window and started making car shifting noises for a solid 10 seconds. 10 seconds is a long time for awkward noises. Seriously sit there and count 10 seconds with Mississippi at the end and experience how long 10 seconds actually is. Then he reads our order aloud and of course it is missing 2 sandwiches. We told him that and he fixed and it was all good untill we got to the second window. We got a small bag and immediately knew that we did not get our whole order. We parked and went in and meet someone competent. That person fixed our order and told the people in the back that this was the third order they messed up in two minutes. From now on we will be avoiding that McDonald's...
