Best kept secret in Chicago!!! Very friendly place at all times. You come into the 5th Province Pub as a stranger and you end up later having met so many new friends and wondering why you have not been there before. From the great bartenders, great food, great organization, great cultural programming - I say go and experience this venue for yourself and your family (family friendly)! If you are into Celtic culture, take in the second floor with a phenomenal Museum, a beautiful Library and the Art Gallery - wonderful spaces. Great space to spend a day in Chicago (or an eternity). The sign on the wall very clearly said they close at 12:30am, but when we came in around 12:05 they said they were already closed because "the hours change each day." There were at least half a dozen other customers sitting at the bar...
