I was really excited to dine here today and support a local Latino owned business. Staff was very friendly and attentive unfortunately the food was really bad. They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa along with a noodle soup, really nice touch but there was no flavor in either. I never put salt on my food when I dine out but in this case I had to go at it with the salt shaker to try and salvage my meal. I had the enchiladas suizas and my friend had the taco dinner, both meals came with rice and beans. The rice was more comparable to a mushy paste, the beans lacked flavor, and the chicken filling in the enchiladas was so extremely salty I couldn’t get through it (I couldn’t even taste the green sauce on top because all I could taste was the salt in the chicken). It felt like the salt that was missing in all the other components was accidentally tossed into the chicken. My friend said her tacos were ok but she had to drown them in lime to eat them. Also, I don’t know if there was a bathroom issue but the second you stepped in you got hit with a whaff of very potent air freshener or toilette bowl cleaner I couldn’t tell, it was so bad and overpowered the meal. The total tab was $46 dollars not including tip which I think is pricey...
Read moreWent for a birthday dinner with good friends. We were excited to try this new place. It was in our neighborhood and they had a lot of vegetarian options. Before we arrived we weren’t sure if we were going to eat in or take out. But when we arrived it was such a cute place we decided to eat in. The server (who we wish we knew her name ) was so polite and friendly and immediately offered us chips and salsa , water and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. The salsa was FRESH and so good with lots of flavor. We also ordered two appetizers- the guacamole which I HIGHLY recommend - so fresh and so flavorful - one of the best I ever had. The other appetizer was the queso fundido - we asked for it with no meat. It was delicious. Then we ordered each a meal I got the fish tacos and my friends got the steak taco dinner and the cheese tamales. Not much to say except everything was so delicious. Definitely coming back and making this place one of our regular spots. 10/10 highly recommend ! Wish we took more photos but we were to busy eating lol. Pictured is the...
Read moreThe service was great and the atmosphere was cute. They served chips and salsa and a small cup of soup. My husband had the carne asada dinner. The steak was juicy and tender. My daughter had steak and pork tacos. Both delicious and filled to the brim. There was enough meat to make another taco out of each. I, unfortunately, had chicken flautas. They were not good at all. They tasted burnt and as if they were fried in old oil. You could tell they were over fried and dry but it felt like it was presented in a way to try and hide it. They packed the 4 flautas with salad, cheese, green sauce, avocado. It looked appealing until you dug in. It’s very, very unfortunate since everything else...
