Dairy Queen Gill & Chill — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

7/6/25 MOCHA MOOLATTE WAS MADE TO PERFECTION.......Went to Dairy Queen on the 4th of July. Their Mocha Moolatte was cool, creamy, and refreshing, just what I needed on that hot summer day. (The Mocha Molatte is a blend of coffee and rich rich fudge with Dairy Queen soft serve and ice, topped with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. It's sort of the ice cream version of a 7-11 slushie). It was rich, not too overpowering, and perfectly made.

The employees were very attentive, and the restaurant was clean and orderly. Although not a big deal with my experience, the only issue with this particular location is their washrooms are very small. I had to leave my shopping cart outside the door. Mothers with babies or more than one child and strollers, or those with walkers or in a wheelchair, are bound to have problems. The washroom isn't big enough, and there's no changing table. (With all due credit to the restaurant, the washrooms were probably originally intended for the employees, and later open for customers to use).

At any rate, the product I purchased couldn't have been made better. The store is in good shape, I'm grateful they have a washroom to begin with, and that's what really matters. 5 stars for this...

This is my Second time and Final time coming here! I went in and ordered 4 large new blizzard ice creams and I even told the young lady at the Register i had a Peanut allergy and ordered the cotton candy, cookie blizzard come to find out she gave me the wrong order. I went back to let them know so they can fix my order and one young man said he will fix it he never did and just gave me a large chocolate blizzard. The order was still wrong!! Never Again! Thank you Dairy Queen! I tried one of the supposedly Cotton Candy turns out it has Peanuts! Wrong order!! Now im on my way to the ER Because of this! The CEO will hear about this one for Sure!!! Beware Folks this place Doesnt Care if you have a Food Allergy they give you what They Want and not what YOU Order and pay for!... They didnt even bother to make it right and fix the order! So dissapointed! Never again! Im gping to make sure none if my Friends now Family come...

I've been eating at this Dairy Queen sporadically throughout the years. They never disappoint when it comes to the desserts. Aside from other specialty dessert restaurants, this is the one to go to. Their regular food options are few, but most of their items are good. I especially enjoy their new Backyard Bacon Ranch burger, which is similar to the A1 burger it replaced.

My biggest gripe however - are the wait times. Oftentimes, I'll have to wait 10 - 18 minutes for my order, especially during the summer. I usually only see 2 or 3 people working there, so I'm not sure if it's due to chronic understaffing or simply lack of organization. Not exactly "fast food". But their prices are reasonable.
