I am in GA and I have a student in Chicago. I needed a birthday cake for her milestone birthday and being that I could not physically deliver the cake to her myself, I set out to find a bakery that would not only make a delicious, beautiful cake, but one that would deliver as well. Iced Chicago did not disappoint. David, responded quickly and I appreciated his professionalism and expertise. He noted that the size of the cake I asked for was larger than the amount of people that I wanted to feed. Based off of his recommendation, I went with the smaller size to accommodate the number of people being fed which saved me money. David actually saved me money! I sent David a few inspiration photos and after settling on one of them, he more than met my expectations. According to my daughter, the cake was INCREDIBLE. I am thrilled that I chose David at Iced to create the cake for my 75th birthday. I wanted a cake to represent aspects of my life, but also a cake that was delicious and beautiful. David crafted a masterpiece. He found or made representations of a piano, a strip of music, a rainbow, a stethoscope, Cubs and University of Michigan logos, and more, to decorate the cake. My guests and I were amazed! The cake consisted of layers of moist vanilla bean and dark chocolate cake separated by pastry cream laden with bananas and strawberries. It was so good, only a small piece was left for me to take home. Ordering was a breeze because David is so responsive and knowledgeable. His payment system is easy and a pleasure to use. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

I sent an inquiry for a cake on short notice and was very appreciative they were able to do it. The cake was pretty and I was excited to try it. That was until a slice was cut, placed on a plate, and there was a baby roach. Contacted the bakery and they said they’re not responsible so I can’t get even a partial refund. $150 for a cake I couldn’t even eat one bite of, and no cake for my birthday. I will not be ordering from here ever again and don’t advise anyone else to do so.

P.S. This bakery is operated in a food center and isn’t even listed on the food center’s website as one of the businesses being run in the food center. I also find it a little suspicious that there’s only one bad review on both Yelp and Google, and the rest are 5 stars (2 of which just mention that the owner is hot so.. most likely from friends). Just some things to take into consideration and something I should have taken note of before...
