La Baguette Mexican Bakery — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

I would like to start off by saying that this was my go to place for years and years …. I’ve been coming here to get my cakes a few months ago I order $100 cake and when we cut the cake we seen that they had gave us the wrong kind from what I had ordered so I contacted the store. I spoke to the lady Maribel and she was going back-and-forth with me about what she said that I want it when I had the receipt in front of my face I called the manager on Clark street &

spoke to her as well to make a long story short, they were supposed to give me a credit on the cake because they don’t give refund few months. I went to go try to get my cake and she said that I took too long to come and get my credit she threw the receipt out and there was nothing she could do. She said they would refund me $10 how is $10 a refund when you spend money on $100 cake I don’t understand ??? On top of that she was very rude so when you don’t treat your customers as they should be treated and especially if you’re a customer at a place for a lot of years, and they don’t value you I will not ever again come to this bakery again, because I need to be treated well as a customer and you have to make things right when you make a mistake in this kind of business therefore, they lost me as a customer. Love their bread but recently went and tried to buy a Rosca and the prices were insane! 55 for a small and 80 plus for a large. When at other bakeries were 25 for small and 35 for large. Lady attendeding was rude staying that we lre not allowed to touch the Rosca due to health and restrictions - which is understandable. But 1. Should've been nicer in the approach. Yelling at us for touching them. 2. Should've placed a sign at least outside with pricing and not to touch. 3. She herself Should've set this example. They messed up a simple cake, I made a single simple request to have the writting in Blue. I picked up and alas it's in gold/yellow.
