McDonald's — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

We had an hour layover in Chicago. This McDonald’s was right next to the gate. As we approach, I noticed a huge crowd waiting. I figured we had an hour, how long could it be? Moments after waiting in line, short, long braided employee screaming at the top of her lungs “get your receipts out! I ain’t going to serve you without it! six fifty nine step up!” Wow. Never have I ever witnessed this type of behavior towards customers who were patiently, respectfully, and quietly waiting for their food, which they paid for. To make a long story semi short, I had literally 10 minutes to board my flight. They were picking and choosing which receipt to fill, in random order. My number was 764. This kid from Ireland had a ticket # of 100 something. He waited 45 minutes! His Dad had to yell for any attention to get his son’s order filled. After 50 mins, I finally approached the counter. I politely asked if she would please fulfill my order as I am about to board my flight. Reluctantly, the employee handed over the bag and drinks. When I had five minutes to sit down while the flight was boarding, I opened up the bag only to find I was one burger short of a combo meal. Cold, stale and poorly made. This establishment is in serious need of quality control over their lack of management. This is 2023. No excuse for this...

From reading some of these reviews, it seems the same terrible staff is working here. Extremely rude behavior... especially from who might have been the manager. We eat McDonald's maybe twice a year... this was our first time of 2024; it's no secret McD's is unhealthy. We had a long layover so we decided to get bite to eat and this McD's was closest to our gate C9. The food was NOT as good as our home town McD's. I don't thing they gave us the correct size of fries, and the drink was more ice than soda. When we attempted to get a refill, first they asked with an attitude, "what's wrong!?!" Then they said, "we don't give refills, it's airport line!" What ever that means... To add, they treated certain customers differently then they treated us/most. To all employees off ohare at all terminal inlude this worst terminal stuff n service has not gave any discount for us n asking us to pay normal price n whn thu go to us n getting some we put discount tht ohare policy off 10% to all aiport stuff so tht I advise to all who ever meet this stuff mcdonal t1 dont gave discount n tell then tht we dnt do discount to them n need to pay normals like they wanted n rude stuff n mean manager n worst fast food chain ever we meet a very worst customer service they have ever so pls guys avoid n avoid this location we dont need like this proper restaurant inside who care only money n pay to all us like outside fast food chain but not outside fast food chain n must fallow ohare te percent discount in all crew airport stuff thts all guys i warning u again dnt go in here for n thy will tlk on front of u same like thy did to us no discount n pay for they disgusting price...
