I placed an order online and paid for it with my debit, which came out to 33.04. I had my wife pick up the pizza and when she went there they charged her AGAIN (my wife was unaware I had already paid online or how much the total was). The lady at the cash register must of been somewhere else in her head because she charged her for the wrong order after repeating my wife’s name; which the order was placed under. When she went to grab the order she drop our order of garlic knots on the floor so she had to wait for them to be re-made. It was once the pizza was on the counter that the lady realized she had charge my wife 38.66 and the receipt for the order said 33.04. She told my wife she would give her $5 since she over charged her. My wife, being the nice person she is, didn’t want to argue over 62¢ or the fact that they dropped our food and she was forced to wait for them to remake it. When she got home she told me what had happen and that’s when I told her I had already paid. I quickly contacted Pizza Hut to tell them they had charged us twice. They in turn try to claim my wife left a $5 tip (because clearly she would want to tip someone who dropped our food🙄). I explained to them my wife did not leave a tip and even if she did why would I get charged 33.04 then 38.66?? So they put me on hold for 8-10 mins and tell me again that I’m wrong and that my wife left a five dollar tip so that’s why I was charged 38.66. I tried explaining again that I have two charges on my card from Pizza Hut and they tried telling me it was because my wife left a tip and they could refund those five dollar if I wanted. So I asked them then why am I down over $70 if it was just a $5 tip and they place me on hold again for another 10 minutes. Again they tell me the reason I’m seeing two charges is because my wife left a $5 tip. So I tell them ok if it was a five dollar tip then why is it 38.66? They say because the 33 plus the 5 is 38, I tell them ok what about the other 62¢ then? Again they tell me to hold, but they forget to place the mute button on and I can hear the girl tell someone now he’s saying we over charged him 62¢. I just hung up and decided to call my bank instead of dealing with these idiots while my pizza gets more cold then it already was from the wait of their first mistake..
LONG STORY SHORT: They charged me TWICE for one order and tried to only give me five dollars back for the...
Read moreThe app is horrendous, their website is built like 1995, the server feels like it’s running on dialup, overall the experience of ordering a freaken pizza felt like nails on a chalkboard. Went on the website to order a pizza, tried selecting a deal, crash had to restart, tried ordering a second time this time it went through, but low and behold up more crashes on the website. Try a third time this time it’s working, but oh wait I needed to edit a order, guess that’s too much for the website to handle because again it crashed. Figured I’d download the app, unresponsive to touch and wouldn’t let me simply any choices. Let’s try calling the store, they say it’s more expensive if I call it in and I have to use the app/website to do any ordering. In my life I’ve put maybe 3 reviews because of the headache a company has caused me. If you don’t want a migraine while ordering a pizza I suggest you go somewhere else. (It’s possible the staff is good and the quality is good but the fact that I had to jump through hoops and ultimately walk in and order a pizza like it was 2005 is...
Read moreDisappointing experience. I tried to place an order for delivery but was told they don't deliver to my address. When I asked why they didn't deliver to Portage Park even though they're located in Portage Park (less than two miles away) I was told, "I checked with the driver and we can deliver there if it's a cash payment." I called back to speak with the manager and the manager told me, "There's nothing we can do about it. That's what we're told when we type in the address." Funny thing is that the previous employer was somehow willing to overlook this "system" notification for a cash payment. I'm African American and I'm sure the employees were able to recognize this in my voice. I can't help but wonder if they don't want to deliver to my address because I'm Black and they're assuming I'm...
