Believe Cafe in Avondale / North Logan Square, is a true neighborhood gem. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, humble, and gracious, making you feel instantly welcome. My coworker recommended me here. He told me I was going to feel like I was going to be part of the family when I walked in, and he wasn't lying.
The real stars of the show are the delicious dishes. The empanadas are a must-try – flaky and flavorful, PACKED with a variety of delicious fillings. Their refreshing drinks are perfect for a hot day, and the coffee is strong and flavorful. Their lattes warm and fuzzy for a blistery Chicago winter morning.
Believe Cafe offers excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable, and every penny is worth it.

Read moreYes sir! First time going here and we were greeted with a big smile and enthusiastic energy! We were told the menu and any questions we had were answered. We decided to try the horchata latte and honey goat milk latte which were delicious and definitely would get again! We also had the buttermilk hot dog/corn dog and empanadas( mole & chicken, ham egg and cheese, cactus and beans, steak, and chorizo egg and cheese)
Our top 3 and recommended empanadas would be: 1.chicken and mole ( with or without salsa! Very delicious!) Steak Cactus with cheese and beans!
There was one things that we personally thought can be improved such as leaving the buttermilk dog a little longer since ours had a few spots with uncooked dough. hopefully in the future we have a place to sit in and also adding a little bit of flavor to the other empanadas( our own opinion) every one has different taste buds.
Overall we would go back again to try other coffees and go for a chicken and mole empanada. We hope to see a bigger place in the near future! Keep doing what you are doing and put all your love and enthusiasm into...
Read moreWow! Okay, I had no idea what to expect when we came here, but we were in the area and my partner needed some coffee. He saw that this place was highly reviewed and brought us here.
I ordered the lavender milk tea which has lavender foam atop unsweetened, iced black tea. The foam is delicious! And as long as you drink it from the lid, not a straw, you get a good mix of foam to tea all the way till the end. This is soooooo tasty! One of the best I’ve ever had. It’s not a traditional milk tea though; so, don’t go in expecting that. It’s foam over iced black tea. The foam is what adds the milk as you drink it. It isn’t heavy. It’s just perfect. If I lived closer to this place, I would get this all the time.
My partner got the mocha frappe. This isn’t super sweet; you can definitely taste the coffee as well as the chocolate. It has a great ratio of each. He highly recommends this.
Overall, we are stoked we came here and definitely suggest you stop by and try one of...
