I ordered dinner specials today from the Albany park location, and to my surprise when I walked in I notice some remodeling had been done. When the cashier comes out from the back, I realize its an unfamiliar face and I was able to see unfamiliar faces in the kitchen. To my surprise…. They are new owners. I pick up my order and felt the bag wasn't heavy, and the cashier said no soda included. When I get home and I took out the 2 dinner specials I got very disappointed. First of all, they don't use the foam trays anymore the served the dinner in the plastic containers. There was barely any food and the taste is totally different than the original See Thru. The egg foo young were very small and the brown gravy was not good to our taste. I have been ordering from See Thru for at least 20 years and I have never been unsatisfied as I was today. For those of you that have been ordering from there for years in the past, this is a heads up. I will try to post a picture of the dinner special I got. By the way the dinner special is $12.95 (I could be off a few cents, I threw away the receipt) they DID NOT serve $12.00 worth of food. No napkings, no fork no spoon in my order pick up.

We’ve been ordering here for years, and I just found out it’s under new management and the food is 100% not the same. I ordered over the phone for pickup so I didn’t know it wasn’t the same til I arrived, but had already ordered so couldn’t back out. This place has been an Albany park gem for so long, but now it’s gone. The combination plates don’t come with drinks anymore and they don’t put the same amount of food as before. Prices were about the same? Two Dinner specials and one almond cookie $29 Service was nice though. The inside looks nicer than before. Not the same nostalgia.

This is the 2nd negative See Thru Chinese kitchen review I'm giving, the first was from division & central because of stomach virus symptoms. I'm back for another poor review for stomach problems again. I'm used to msg, so that's not it. I don't know what they are feeding us, but the chicken doesn't taste like chicken. Good Chinese food makes you wanna go back for more, right? Not last night smh. My girl and I didn't want to eat anymore for some reason, and I get the worst stomach pain ever. Got the food at 9pm, been throwing up since 6 am it's 9:49am. Almost $50 worth of food‼️
