The food was rite but the workers and manger do not have good customer service, they need to take a class and watch a video of how to approach a customer with a smile and a nice welcome to white castles would also been nice. I know you ain't no CVS but they greet every customer comin into the store everytime, and from the register even when there busy, places that do that just wants me to go there more often, but when you look at me and not say nothing b4 I order dont make me a mind reader also and when another customer asked for sauce she asked what kind he asked what kind do you have and then the lady at drive thur let's out a deep breath and says ketchup mustard and that's all she said with her eyes wide open like she was sayin with her eyes like well what kind of sauce do u want and hurry up cause she has other better things to do, and he asked do u have bbq sauce she goes and grabs it and just dropped it into his hand like she didn't even want to touch the customer.. All I know is that us white folks are not the racist ones I know that's a fact cause I get along with all race and when u have seen it all u know things and I know that the lady was racist against white folks!!! All I I'm saying I dont even want to eat there again I try to give this place 1 more chance and it was just a very disappointing experience to were I will not go to that place again I would rather eat frozen white castles burgers at home then at Belmont and Harlem Avenue ever...
Read moreI MISSED YOU WC! When I lived out west the nearest White Castle was 360 miles away in Las Vegas. In the south we had Krystal, but they aren't the same no matter how hard they try.
I visited this location to get my fix before the lunch crowd so it was clean and the staff was still busy setting up. Not the friendliest bunch but they took my order without complaint. I know it had to be a pain to deal with four different sliders while you're trying to get started on your shift.
So many options now. I went with the sloppy joe Slider, which tasted just like a sloppy joe. If you like it, you like it. I liked it okay. Next was one of my favorites, the Chicken Ring Slider just for old times sake.
The most expensive thing I ordered was the Chicken and Waffles Slider and it was my least favorite of the bunch. The chicken was okay but the waffles were bland and uninspiring.
Finally I tried the 1921 Slider and liked it much more than I expect to. A big slider with all of the fixin's, everything was fresh and flavorful.
Prices are always great so you can still afford a sackful of you want. I realized that I didn't even get a plain old regular slider until after I walked out the door so I'll definitely be going back for a couple of them and to work my way through the rest...
Read morewe didn't wait very long at all to get our food despite it being the nightly munchie Rush Hour whatever they call it. this isn't the cheap food I remember as a kid, of course I haven't been here in 20 years... we went through the drive-thru and the girl was so nice. I dropped the credit card and she apologized. I had to crawl underneath the car to get it which was kind of embarrassing but she kept apologizing for my stupid mistake. who is pretty nice, her not wanting us to be embarrassed over something so silly. we got a receipt and enough napkins and everything was about as good as I remember. the person I was with had never had this food before so I was taking a risk. we even got an onion ring in our French fries. that was pretty cool! when I was a kid that would be the most treasured thing...haha. I'm happy they were open and even though the person I was with convinced me to eat somewhere else, I had to have White Castle and we drove there immediately after portillo's. portillo's was not very good and unclean but White Castle was such a relief after that other place. I should come here more often. it looks like a bad neighborhood but it isn't. nobody bothered us in the half hour we spent in the...
