Noticed this restaurant off the Main Street and decided to stop by with some friends …. Parking - we parked 1 block-down the street we were not sure if the parking around their restaurant was theirs, there were no signs . -Ordered the chilaquilles- have to say presentation of this plate was great it took the food around 22 min to come out. Taste was good but I have to say not delicious as the plate was kind of cool and not warm. -tuna sandwich my friend had he stated it was a bit dry and that he did not care for the taste of the coleslaw. -billing - when the bill came it was brought with a credit card sur -charge on it and we had paid with cash and didn’t noticed the 1.24 surcharge until we got home so watch your bills!!! -price- for dishes were very reasonable but the coffee price of 3.60 was kind of high in my opinion I just had one cup.. maybe the 2.99 price point would be more reasonable. -service - our waiter was very attentive just missed the billing detail. Overall I would probably give one more chance but they would have to be on there -A-game next time …. Thanks the avocado was...
Read moreTwo stars for good food and fast service, that’s about it. The bathroom has a sign to place used/ soiled toilet paper in the garbage can, this is gross and a health issue. Call a plumber if your pipes need cleaning. The drinks are over priced, coffee is $3.60 a cup. Intelligentsia coffee is not that expensive. The menu is mostly Mexican/Latino dishes, serve Bustelo instead! They charge $2.50 for a can of Coke, we all know restaurants go to restaurant depot or Costco, so they are making a 200% profit on every can of soda they sell. My friend asked for no sour cream, but it came with it. She didn’t want to ask for another plate because we know those dishes get tossed & it’s a shame to waste food. The menu states 20% tip charged for parties of 5 or more. They also charge you 3% of your total food and drinks, plus tax it at Chicagos 10.25% tax rate for using a credit/debit card. I was excited to try this place out, but I won’t spend...

Even the pancakes are some of the best I’ve had and the syrup is from a local company that is fire. The service is normally really good too. This isn’t your average diner food or fast food, it’s a real restaurant so you’re going to pay a little more which is normal. For the people leaving bad reviews about price, let’s remember that everything is inflated, just a carton of eggs is $8 right now. You may not realize, but businesses pay credit card fees so pay with another method if you want to avoid that charge. If budget is your main concern, there’s an IHOP nearby… if you’re willing to splurge a little on quality and taste, this is probably the best spot in this...
