McDonald's — Restaurant in Jeffersontown

First of all, I went to the bathroom before placing my order and wasn't sure I was still at McDonald's because it actually smelled pretty nice in there instead of sewage and beef oil like every other McDonald's I've been in. But I have many things to say about "Manager Cynthia"....the very first thing she did when she stepped out from the back to the counter was lie to my face, telling me they didn't have the mango pineapple smoothie and THEN when she realized I placed my order on the app so she couldn't refund it because I did not want the strawberry banana flavor,,she instructed a lovely young man to put a new box/bag of it up and what do you know, they had it all along...(that's strike one). And then! In front of a lobby of customers, criticized an obviously new employee who was trying his best with a really pleasant attitude (somehow, despite working with this nightmare of a woman) and saying he needs to do this and that and this "so we don't have to keep coming out here to fix your mistakes"....when clearly he hasn't really been very well trained in the system (I'm gonna go ahead and throw "Manager Cynthia" under the bus for that one too, cuz at this point, why not). She didn't even try to keep her voice down. Bless those poor people that have to work with this horror. I also watched another customer have the hardest time getting a cup of water with a kids meal. How do you overcomplicate such a simple ask? Good 🤌 lord. At any rate, the food came out very well for my table. So there's your "compliment sandwich" fully dressed with loathing for Cynthia as a human 👍 maybe she possesses redeeming qualities, but not a single one was anywhere to...

So my worst fear came true today . on may,18,2017. I ordered a buttermilk chicken sandwich , nuggets, a milkshake and some fries. I always check my food before I eat and while I eat because I'm very cautious and its my worst fear to find my food is either tampered with or worse a bug or something in my food, u never know what you get until you look! well look what I found !!!!! So you mean to tell me that you saw my buns were burnt to a dang crisp and you still slathered mayo on it anyways ! You mean to tell me you had no regards for your customers or common courtesy or decency for another human being how would you feel if your food was burnt to a crisp and you paid your money for it not to be! I bet my but you'd be pissed off ! By far the worst place to ever ever go to people do not ever go here ! I didn't get a sorry or anything they just gave me another chicken sandwich and sent me on my way no one went back to repremand anyone or nothing they just stood there looks at me crazy . and on top of that made me bring the burger that was burnt back to them to show them it was burnt before giving me something half decent to eat !!!! Negative 1 billion stars for this place ! And to the manager whose name I know and wrote down ! FYI I work for the state and they will be coming for this place so u can explain to them specifically why they still served me food after they knew and seen it...

A quick review based on a lousy drive-thru experience.

Went to the drive-thru to order a shake. The only time I get a shake at McDonald's is during the all-too-brief period when the Shamrock shake is available, and then I orde them Half Chocolate, Half Shamrock. I have been ordering shakes like this for over 30 years.

I asked for it at the speaker and the voice in the speaker said "I can't mix a shake". I said that, yes, you can. The half dozen other McDonald's I've stopped at this year have been able to. The voice said "I'm sorry, I can't do that."

"Ok, then, you don't want my money." And I drove away.

And went immediately to the McDonald's in J-Town and got my shake (picture posted).

Don't tell me you can't mix 2 different kinds of shakes. It's not like they're pre-packaged or hermetically sealed. You put the cup under the spout and pour the chocolate, fill the cup half way, the do the remainder using Shamrock. This is not hard, nor is it painful, nor is it illegal. For crying out loud, they actually had them on the menu 3 or 4 years ago.

You'd think that every customer mattered and you'd want to get as much business as you can through your drive-thru during a time that fast food sales are down. I guess this place...
