Recently moved to Indiana and the first time here it was very good. The second time was horrible. Poor service that messed up 3 of the 5 meal’s because they didn’t write anything down. We went there to eat and drink while watching the NBA and NHL playoffs and midway through the first quarter and period of playoff games they cut the sound and started up a karaoke night for what I assume are regulars in a pretty empty bar. I have nothing against karaoke but what type of sports bar host a karaoke night in the middle of the Eastern Conference finals for both the NHL and NBA playoffs. That should be the sweet spot for a sports bar and extra attractions aren’t needed. Assuming they have a manger that personally likes karaoke because no one in the right mind would do that on a night with multiple big games. I personally will never go back without calling to confirm they aren’t doing karaoke. We will stick with Roosters, Hooters, BDubs, or another local sports bar for watching games going forward. Also only one out of the twenty people there singing could carry a note. Shout out to that girl for delivering a few moments of sanity during a stressful and otherwise annoying...
Read moreI have been there several times over the last year. The first time I ever walked in the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They had karaoke with a great selection. The kitchen made several options of pizza and appetizers. All of which were great. The drinks were delicious and very well priced. Kaelynn and Liz went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome and at home. The next time I went we were celebrating a birthday. I had to work that evening so when I dropped off all the decorations and cake they immediately took over and set everything up for me. They were so gracious and made everything perfect. I couldn’t have asked for better had I hired a party planner. Just an amazing group of people that everyone feel welcome and special. The last time I went we were having a send off for one of my work employees. You would have thought that we worked there with as accommodating as they were. Such a wonderful place and great employees. I will definitely be back for any and all events. Whether it be their live bands or karaoke, a night out on the town or any occasion at all, I will be at...
Read moreI've been a regular at Hoopsters for quite some time now, and I wanted to share everything about how amazing it's become under the new owner. They've managed to update the place without losing the unique charm that made it a local Jeffersonville favorite in the first place. The energy is unmatched, with TVs playing all the sports, trivia nights that bring out your competitive side, live music that’s usually pretty damn good, and karaoke nights that are an absolute blast (either singing yourself or watching others.
The best part is that the food and drinks are still as affordable and delicious as ever, (shout out to Liz!) which means you can have a great time without breaking the bank. It's busier and more fun now, but still with great and quick service, and it’s attracting a diverse crowd that adds to the vibrant atmosphere. If you haven't checked out the changes yet, you're definitely missing out on a good time especially if Casey is working! Make sure to get one of their new margaritas but be warned; they’re both...
