DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR I have long spiral curls all they way down my back and went in for a 1/2 in trim. I had my hair in a messy bun and was fighting some frizz that day. My stylist washed my hair with normal shampoo and conditioner (curls need moisture) and told me my hair was burned from the occasional flat ironing I do. I found that hard to believe since I always deep condition during and after as well as use a protectant. My stylist then separated my hair and began to comb the underpart of my hair out. With the majority of my hair still separated she told me my hair was stringy. Of course if you are only looking at the hair by the nape of my neck! She suggested I cut off the majority of my length and I informed her that I had THICK hair. She still insisted that I had thin stringy hair. I told her that I only wanted a half inch off regardless and told her exactly how I prefer to have my hair trimmed. I believed that she was doing what I said at the time. The owner then came up to her and consulted with her and asked me to stand up when I was finished. She completed the cut and began to blow dry my hair. She did ask permission but I assumed any stylist worth their salt would NEVER blow dry curls without a diffuser. But she did. Before I knew it I HAD A MASSIVE BALL OF FRIZZ AND COULD NOT SEE MY HAIRCUT! She then tested the length and cut my hair again in a frizzy state! I waked out EMBARRASSED AND LOOKING WORSE THEN WHEN I WALKED IN. I went into the beauty supply store next door to get some oil to FIX MY HAIRCUT and was STARED AT! Now that I have given my hair some love from the hard blow dry session I can see MUCH MORE THAN WHAT I ASKED FOR WAS CUT OFF. I am embarrassed to wear my hair down now until it grows...

I went and got my hair cut today by Hayley Ruiz. I will start out by saying this, I will NEVER be back to Trend Designs!!!!! She washed my hair like normal and I told her I would like to get 2 inches cut off my hair. She said "What about 3" since my hair had bad split ends. I agree'd to get 2' 1/2" inches cut off. She was telling me how she had long hair and then cut it all off, well that's exactly what she did with mine. She did not face me toward the mirror to see what she was ding and then when we were finished she showed me and I was SO UPSET. I looked back to see 7+ inches of my hair laying on the ground. She then said "Do you like it?" and I had never broke down infront of someone with so much tears. My hair was to the bottom of my back and now it is about an inch away from my shoulders. I have never been this unhappy in my life so thank you Hayley, and thank you...

If you want to be disappointed and waste your money go ahead and visit this place. Even after showing pictures of the bad service I got to the owner they still wouldn't refund my $150. Only store credit they said. Went there once and they ruined my clothes. Tried to give them a second chance and the color and cut they gave me was just awful. I was so tired that day that I didn't realize how bad it looked until I got home and my husband asked me what the hell I had done to my hair. 100% do not recommend their services or customer...
