Flavor is the star. This food just tastes great. I had street tacos, one each of Lingua, Cabeza, and Machaca. Let me tell you, when I put the first bite of Machaca in my mouth, I had to sit there and take a moment - so very good. The Lingua and the Cabeza were also quite good. I'd order all three again. My wife ordered the steak breakfast plate - eggs, cheese, and steak scrambled together with a side of refried beans and home fries. She got it without the pico de gallo. These beans were the best I've had in the Tulsa Metro - again with so much flavor. My wife said the scramble took her back to when we lived in El Salvador. They made her so happy. We also shared the churro fries - churros cooked to resemble French fries, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a strawberry dipping sauce (with real pieces of strawberry). This was also wonderful, and it is definitely a shareable dish. One more thing, Kevin (one of the owners) was friendly and welcoming. He answered all our questions and gave recommendations. Everyone was friendly. If you haven't been there yet, make...
Read moreThe food is usually quite delicious. However, 3 stars because their to-go salsa packets are usually about to explode. Meaning, they've either not been stored or packed properly and the fermentation process has begun. Even their sour cream packets are about to explode. So, please be careful consuming those. Additionally, their machaca already has chopped up bell peppers and onions mixed in and they taste either frozen or canned, but definitely not fresh. I am curious as to how they store some of their food just because of how some of it really doesn't taste fresh. I'd love to see their fridge and freezer, or maybe I don't? But, the food in general is quite good. Although, their carne asada is cut up or chopped up kind of weird. You don't get some nice big chunks of meat, you get tiny and super skinny strips of meat. Which is smart on their part. Chop it up or cut it up so small to save money on buying more. Now that I think about it, most of their meats are cut up this way. Their desserts taste store bought, not freshly made. Overall, it's a decent place to get...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I've been here several times in the last couple weeks. Every single time, the staff has been rude. The food is great so it's a shame they don't train them on customer service. This evening, I went to pick my food up and the staff messed up on my order. They refused to fix it because "it's already made," then makes a distasteful joke about how i ordered it three hours ago, when I had called fifteen minutes before. Instead of fixing it, they offered to give me a side of beans. I wanted beans on my burrito. I am so fed up with the rude service and the disrespect when I have spent my hard earned money at this restaurant several times. The manager is rude, the employees are rude and this is not how you conduct a business or how you should conduct your customer service. I highly recommend NOT wasting your time on a place with no manners and who do not care about their customers. I will not...
