KFC — Restaurant in Jersey City

I hadn't been to KFC in along time. So, my expectations were low, but I was pleasantly surpised.

As for first impressions, this location looks like it is recently renovated. Everything from the counter tips to the soda fountain looked modern and new. There was ample seating, although a few of those seats were occupied by bums.

I made an order to pickup. So the cashier just took my name and said it wasn't ready yet. After about 10 minutes my order was up, which included 3 of there $5 specials. They forgot the sauces, so another clerk loaded me up very generously.

Now I was expecting greasy and salty chicken, but everything from the extra crispy chicken parts to the chicken tenders tasted just right. Although the side mashed potatoes and fries were infant-sized, they hit the spot.

Besides the presence of a few undesirable people hanging out there with unpleasant body odor that would ruin anyone's appetite, when I needed to access the locked bathroom there were no available employees to be found.

Nevertheless, this spot is definitely a winner. Popeyes was my number one spot, but this made KFC a strong contender for me now. And since delivery is only $6, I'm sure I'll be ordering again soon - this isn't a place I'd recommend...

The hole team needs to be replaced no customer service at all... i dont know why they are mad at the world. The company needs to evaluate the employees. Why I say this? The card reader was not not working at a register but the drive thru card reader was working.... so in order to get my order I would have to get in my car and go through the drive thru..... the team told me I can't do the transaction inside KFC!!!! The yung ladie went over the manager and said I can take care of you.... took me quick and took care of me great customer service... I would like to see her as a manager... don't remember her name but I would love to point her out.. clean house KFC make jersey city, kfc. great.... and this is the morning crew don't know about the night crew... I went with state officials they told me they will never step foot in your place... sorry for leaving a bad review with this we can make...

OMG KFC what can I say it's a chicken store until you walk inside and they tell you there's no chicken Yes you heard me right I wanted to KFC in the afternoon and they said there was no chicken that the cook was not there how could this be I asked him why are you open or people going to come in here and just buy water and soda outrageous at this is not my first bad encounter with this KFC I've gone in there and every single time I do they're always like we're out of breast got to wait 15 minutes ratifies got to wait 15 minutes we're out of wings got to wait 15 minutes it's like they never have all the chicken ready you always got to wait on one piece or another to be cooked the mashed potatoes don't even taste like KFC mashed potatoes they taste like instant mashed potatoes I wouldn't be surprised if the workers are selling the real mashed potatoes out the back door and making instant...
