Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Picking up for Uber Eats! *Gave them a great review 3months ago while working. That was then and this is now. As a "paying customer" I will not patronize this particular location ever again! I have visited this location on many different occasions because it's close to where I live. The service was great before when I first moved to this area. Now since there has been a change in employees...staff and management, service has gone done. The last 3-4 visits (which have been greatly spaced apart) there has always been some type of issue. Long wait time, no chicken cooked (like today), rude employees. Tonight I made my decision to stop giving my dollars to this store. The lady at the counter was fairly pleasant. We were told it would be 15 mins before some chicken would be out. Okay fine. We were never offered a complimentary drink or dessert for waiting like other fast foods including Church's would normally do. So after more than 15 minutes...we go to the counter to pay and get our food. I asked the lady for 2 small drink cups since she didnt offer us a complimentary drink. She frowned her face and then stepped over to get cups and presented me with 2 extra small clear plasitc cups that they give customers for water. I told her no I wanted the regular small cup for soda. She began to tell me no, she wasn't giving me a free drink and that she didnt ask me to wait. She walked away talking to the man who I assume was in charge. She was speaking Spanish so I dont know she said to him. But weren't given a drink as a thank you for our time. No....I wasn't just trying to get a free drink....its just the principle of the whole situation. Just like I paid for the chicken and sides....I could also pay...

This is BY FAR the ABSOLUTE WORST CHURCH'S CHICKEN location in a 30 mile radius!! It has ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION irrefutably proven this to be an issue that will not change. My last visit cemented this fact and prompted me to vow never to set foot in this ridiculous place again! Why, you ask? I arrived at 1:45pm (post lunch rush) expecting no problems with timely service...in...and out. After 4 vehicles came and went through drive-thru AND 3 different walk-ins got their orders and left I figured maaaayyyybe I should ask about MY order. When I approached the counter the woman had the most priceless look of surprise and confusion because SHE HADN'T EVEN BEGUN MAKING ANY PART OF MY ORDER.

Then to add insult to injury, offered NO discounts nor anything extra in exchange for my troubles. Paper and taped edits stuck on digital menus SHOULD have been enough to tell me just how bass ackward this place could be!! It's located inside a gas station on Jones Rd. in Jersey Village...not far from West Rd.

Needless to say that marks the LAST time I will EVER set foot in that Lousy excuse for a...

I had not been to this location in 2 years due to poor customer service. So I thought I would give them a try and see if they improved on delivering quality customer service. Went to the drive thru at 10:45am yesterday, website said their open. Sat there waiting in the drive thru, no response, drove up to the window, lady inside saw me and ignored me. I tapped my horn she turned her back and walked off. I drove to the front seeing a sign say only service is in the drive thru. So I called their number, they would not answer their phone. So I drove to the other Churches on Mills, got to the drive thru at 10:55am, their website said they were open and I was greeted immediately and waited on by the nicest lady. Yes, Churches on Jones Rd, still absolutely the worst service. I will never go there again. Poor service is reflection of...
