Customer Relations Team: Why do you hand out āyellow ticketsā for feedback that feel more like harassment than help?
Erika A. Should Not Be Serving Customers.
I am appalled by the treatment I received from an employee named Erika A and her coworker at the HāEāB on Jones Rd West on 8/22/2025, at 12:39 PM. I am a disabled veteran, wearing a brace, returning deli meat purchased earlier that day because it was subpar in both quantity and taste. I requested a simple refund or store creditāreasonable, legal, and clearly within HāEāB policy.
Instead of providing basic customer service, Erika A. was hostile, aggressive, and unprofessional from the moment I approached her: ⢠āWhere is the receipt?ā ⢠āHow did you purchase it?ā ⢠āWhen did you purchase it?ā
I calmly explained that I bought the meat that morning at this store and it tasted bad. Erika refused to listen, repeatedly lying and insisting I could only exchange the meat for the same item or that a receipt was requiredāboth of which are false per HāEāB policy. I had to force her to acknowledge the rules before she would issue a refund.
Her behavior went far beyond incompetence. Erika, along with two other employees, began mocking me in Spanish directly in front of me, saying things like: āCan you believe this white man?ā Clearly, they assumed I didnāt understand. This is disrespectful, discriminatory, and insultingāespecially toward a customer and veteran.
The treatment I receivedālying, refusing service, being aggressive, and mocking me in another languageāis unacceptable. It demonstrates a shocking lack of training, dishonesty, and blatant disregard for HāEāBās stated values. This experience was humiliating, frustrating, and completely unnecessary. I will never shop at this location again and will be contacting HāEāB corporate and HR immediately.
HāEāB claims to value honesty, respect, and customer satisfactionāthis incident proves the opposite.
Worse, HāEāB management escalated the harassment. On 8/26/2025, I was contacted on my personal phone by the store manager while my child was present. Instead of addressing the employee misconduct, the manager repeatedly harassed me and made irrelevant accusations, demanding details about the original purchase that were already provided.
Let me be clear: DO NOT contact me on my personal phone for any reason. I filed this complaint expecting confidentiality. The managerās behavior was retaliatory, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. HāEāB needs to handle complaints professionally and respect customer privacy.
Update 09/05/2025:
I contacted HāEāB at 1ā800ā432ā3113 at 8:50 AM CT. Customer service could not locate my complaint from 8/22/2025, wasting more of my time. Now they claim it cannot be found at all. This proves everything I said above: HāEāB is dishonest, disorganized, and has horrible customer service. Stop giving me the runaround and pretending youāre trying to resolve anythingāthis is how you make customers feel invisible and ignored.

I was almost denied my rightful refund and had to fight for it, simply because I asked for basic customer service.
This experience was humiliating, frustrating, and entirely unnecessary. I will never shop at this location again, and I will be contacting HāEāB corporate and HR immediately. I urge management to take immediate action: Erika A.ās behavior is unacceptable, and allowing such hostility toward customersāespecially veterans and disabled patronsācannot continue.

Asking about the time and date of my original purchase for a complaint that I made is completely irrelevant. That information was already provided anything else is irrelevant!! Why does it matter the time of my original purchase for making a complaint!!? That has nothing to do with anything.

Where do I even begin with H-E-B Pharmacy? My recent experience with their pharmacy was an absolute disaster from start to finish. If you're looking for a pharmacy that consistently fails to meet even the lowest of expectations, then H-E-B Pharmacy is the place for you. Prepare yourself for a journey through incompetence and frustration.
Let's start with the staff. Incompetence seems to be a prerequisite for working at H-E-B Pharmacy. Every time I visited, I was greeted by disinterested and clueless employees who seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They lacked basic knowledge about medications, dosage instructions, and even how to operate their own computer systems. It's as if they hired people off the street and put them behind the counter without any training or qualifications.
But it doesn't stop there. The wait times at H-E-B Pharmacy are absolutely absurd. You would think that a company as large and supposedly reputable as H-E-B would have efficient systems in place to serve their customers promptly. However, it seems they have a secret goal to make you wait as long as humanly possible. On multiple occasions, I had to wait over an hour for a simple prescription refill, even when there were only a handful of people in the store. It's as if they take pride in wasting their customers' time.
And let's not forget about their communication skills, or rather the lack thereof. H-E-B Pharmacy seems to operate under the assumption that customers don't deserve to be kept informed about their prescriptions. I can't count the number of times I had to call them repeatedly to check on the status of my medication, only to be met with vague responses and empty promises. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
Now, let's talk about their inventory. If you're expecting H-E-B Pharmacy to have the medications you need in stock, think again. It's like a game of chance every time you go there. They constantly run out of essential medications, leaving you in a desperate situation with no alternatives. And when you ask them to order it for you, they give you a timeline that is completely unrealistic, only to fail to deliver on their promise. It's a never-ending cycle of disappointment and frustration.
Lastly, I have to mention their prices. H-E-B Pharmacy is known for its outrageous prices. They seem to think that their customers have bottomless wallets and can afford to pay exorbitant amounts for their medications. It's a blatant rip-off, and there are much more affordable options available elsewhere.
In conclusion, H-E-B Pharmacy is a disaster in every sense of the word. From their incompetent staff to their absurd wait times, lack of communication, unreliable inventory, and outrageous prices, there is absolutely nothing redeeming about this pharmacy. Save yourself the headache and go anywhere else for your pharmaceutical needs. H-E-B Pharmacy should be avoided...
