Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Jersey Village

I wouldn't normally do this to a neighborhood spot but this was unbelievable and it's been consistently terrible but this night especially asking for Signature heat sauce in a pre-dawn packet which that's not usually how it goes after asking for it three different times and so when she has me the food I make sure if I can have some signature heat sauce and then she holds it up and goes this is it and I said oh it comes in a packet like that now and I especially expressed to her how sad I am when they forget the sauce and I always make sure that they get it for me because when is the food for this delicious sauce when I get home and it's like after a day like this after I expressed to her in three different ways including telling her that it makes me sad and now I'm home and I don't even want the food don't want to eat dinner and not even like looking someone in the eye and expressing to them in three different ways that I want that sauce that I need that sauce not to mention the like 10 times I had to repeat to her very simply just a number one classic and when I asked for a large sweet tea I got a small one so I'm thirsty on top of it I hate this Popeyes I hate this Popeyes I hate this Popeyes this is the worst Popeyes the only other worst Popeyes...

No better or worse than other Popeyes locations, which is not a bad thing. For those who aren't familiar with the chain, Popeyes has Louisiana style fried foods and sides. Popeyes has great chicken at a very reasonable price, and their sides are pretty good.

This location is fairly busy and has little parking immediately on the property, but is located in a strip mall. If you don't mind a short walk during the busy hours it's really not an issue at all. This shop is on the corner of a pair of high traffic roads, so you should expect to have a few customers ahead of you. This is also no big deal, as the staff are capable and I've personally never had a bad wait time in my visits. The staff are not particularly warm, but they aren't unprofessional. I'm not expecting smiles and conversation with my food, just courtesy and reasonable speed, which this location has.

The service is acceptable, the shop is clean, and the staff seem to be following proper procedures. The one potential issue is how busy it can get. This isn't a bad thing, because you know your chicken or shrimp is going to be...

Manager lied to my face and gave me the wrong food after overcharging. Drive-thru wait time was longer than usual. When I was 2nd in line I saw the car ahead of me arguing at the window, passing food back and forth. They leave with no food. When it’s my turn I pay for my food, I asked the employee to confirm I was getting the spicy chicken sandwich with nothing else. The employee told me yes, but as they handed me the bag I saw a cup of coleslaw🤮. I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich and they gave/charged me a 2 piece dinner, nearly 3$ more than I asked for.
