Food and atmosphere was ok but the staff was great.
The atmosphere is fairly bland walking in; the restaurant has been open for a while and you can tell from the decor. The bathrooms were also a little dirty but still usable. Our group walked in about 45 minutes before closing time, but the staff were still kind and patient with us considering the time. For the food itself, I would say overall it was pretty mid in comparison to the typical desi restaurant, but it was served quickly.
We started with the appetizers of chicken malai boti, which was 10/10, and beef behari, which was 7/10 as it was a little too spicy. Next our entrees came. We had chicken tikka, which was a solid 8/10, 9/10 garlic naan, haleem, which was a 3/10 as there was a strong taste of garam masala yet it still tested rather bland, karahi, which was 5/10, and bun kebabs, which were 6/10. I have the rating explanations below. Finally we had sweet lassi for drinks which were 10/10. Overall a good experience with average food and good service but nothing memorable.
1/10: horrible 2/10: bad 3/10: below average 4/10: slightly below average 5/10: average 6/10: slightly above average 7/10: above average 8/10: good 9/10: really...
Read moreToday experience was not good. Too much salt on Chicken Bihari, over all food was cold and not Cooked well. Very poor customer service and the guy with glasses were lieing about items being finished and same items were served to the table right next to us and when we confronted him then he immediatly apologized and accepted that he lied to us. ( for what reason we don’t know). I won’t be going back there again. I believe that when we are going out to eat something our experience should be good but this place ruined everyone’s mood because of poor customer service. I saw 2 people cursing and walking out on them. We still paid but we are never going back again. I suggest for you guys to save your money and cook something at home or go to some other better place. This place is nothing but waste of money. We order chicken Karai, chicken bihari and it took them 2 hrs and still the food was not cooked well, naans were burned and Bihari had too much salt and customer service was horable very horable. (Overall very bad experience) save your money and time and try to...
Read moreWe were visiting from out of town and arrived at this restaurant at 8:50pm (they close at 9:30). We placed our order, and then he asked if it was for dine in or carry out I said "dine in" to which he responded "no sorry dine in is closed". There was another couple sitting there that hadn't gotten their food yet, but we didn't argue. We ordered and waited for our food that came 10 minutes later so we technically could've finished our food in time for their closing instead of having to take it back to our hotel room, but oh well.
We ordered paya, chicken manchurian, and fried rice. I had asked if the manchurian was spicier or the kung pao (I think that's the other dish), and the guy said manchurian was spicier which is what we wanted. The paya was fine. However, the fried rice was dry, and the chicken manchurian was way too sour. It seemed like they went heavy handed with the vinegar or something. We ate the pieces of chicken and had to throw the rest of the manchurian away which...
