Tropical fruit #3 — Restaurant in Jersey Village

Wanted to support this place and asked for very simple mods. Wanted the corn cup with NOTHING but corn and butter, the guy speaks English and said ok but it has tonnnnsssss of mayo at the bottom and thick coat of cheese on the top my pregnant wife literally gagged taking a few bites out. Asked for some mango drink the picture showed chili and spicy stuff I said Noo Spice. Literally they put hot sauce, chili candy and some chili stick inside. Can’t even eat that. The guy speaks English I’m not sure why he made the food his way. The area was sketchy I just wanted to leave so I didn’t say anything thinking it was strawberry sauce not literal hot sauce. The place looks great from the outside , but the food was disgusting. I don’t care to pay money for good food, but I literally threw food away. I ordered a tinga tostada, and fries with bacon and cheese. The tinga had a sour smell like it was stored for tooooo long almost about to go bad. The fries 🤦🏻‍♀️, I’ve never had such nasty fries. They were soggy and cheese was nasty as well. Really disappointed with my experience. Personally will never go back...

What a great place to buy some fresh fruit! The people here are very kind and friendly. They are very knowledgeable about the the various types of fruit they sell. The prices are very reasonable.
