Los Pipiles Restaurant — Restaurant in Texas

First time at the place and the last at that. When we first walked in noone greeted us, a young lady screamed from across the restaurant for us to sit anywhere after 5 minutes. I order a combo plate for my mom, pan con gallina for me, and pupusas for my son. When the food came out pupusas were hot & delicious, so i was excited! When our plates got to the table the presentation was great but once i started breaking down and cutting my food the chicken was COLDD literally one part of the chicken was cold and the other part of the same piece was HOT the chicken was rough, not it got cooked to long rough like its been sitting in the fridge waiting to get reheated rough. When asked if the could reheat it longer the waitress got mad and the ladys in the kitchen started laughing at us and looking our way once she got to them. When the plate came back it was the same they just poured some of the sauce thats hot on the chicken. I ate half and left everything else. I tried. Waitress never came back after that i had to keep asking other ppl for stuff we nedded. My moms tamale was soggy it was like grits once opened the veggies looked old she left half her plate aswell. I couldn't eat after that my stomach was hurting, this was like at 5. I woke up throwing up with stomach pains and you know what else at 1 in the morning. NEVERRRR AGAIIINN! It is now 2 pm the next day and i have not been able to eat my stomach still hurts and is upset. Stay away from this...

Wait time for a to go plate was unnecessarily long. Restaurant should honestly work on a better pick up system because I waited for 40 mins to have someone call my order since I saw how busy it was and the other to go customer's order was called by his name.

After waiting for almost an hour I decided to finally ask if my order was ready and the waitress pulled it from under on their to go station and said here you go.... I asked her if they even call out the customer's name when the order is ready and she said that they do. However, l waited the entire time, and no one had called my name or even asked if I had been helped.

Then by the time I try my order (pupusas of fajita and chicharrón) it was a bigger disappointment. The pupusa literally was not filled with any meat. Cook just threw the fat of the meat inside. You'd think they chop or slice the meat but just to throw it whole and for it to be a quarter size of the fat from the fajita makes no sense..

Only positive thing of the bad customer service, time management and poorly ran restaurant was that the chicharrón con queso pupusa tasted good along with the tomato salsa and curtido other than that I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless they improve their service. First time here, and moms second time. Service here is horrible and food lacked flavor. Interior is very dark and tables are very close to each other. There is a "please wait to be seated" sign in the entrance and even then the waitstaff doesn't acknowledge you until they feel like it. The only sever that was good was the drinks server/bus boy, very prompt and quick. Our waiter was first a female but then ended up being a male server so we didnt know who to call over if there was anyone remotely paying attention to our side. There is no description on the menus just pictures of plates offered with other options. Female waiter in the beginning was rude and when asked a question about a certain item looked puzzled as to why we were even asking the question as though we should know what it was. Later we asked how long our food was going to take and our server said "atleast" 25 mins. We also heard an older gentleman complaining about not receiving his order in a timely manner. In which the next table to him chimed in about the horrible wait time. They seem to send out orders according to how close the tables are to the kitchen. (If you go, sit near the kitchen.) We noticed a table near the kitchen was served before us even though we were seated 5-7 mins before they were.
