I stopped to pick up dessert for tonight. 2 Apple pies, 2 sides of caramel sauce and 1 cup of vanilla ice cream. Little apple pie a la mode. My order was taken at the drive thru. I did not receive a receipt. When I got to the 2nd window, the young man handed me a bag with my apple pies. And tried to hand me an ice cream cone. I told him I had ordered a cup of ice cream and 2 sides of caramel sauce. He told the manager, who obviously got a little disgruntled and told me it was .54 cents more for the cups of caramel. I paid it. The young man at the window tried to hand me a cup with the ice cream cone turned upside down in it. I told him no, I wanted a full cup of ice cream. When he brought it back with NO lid, and then handed me 2 more ice cream cups each with maybe a squirt of caramel sauce in each, and stated "this is how it was given to me", I gave up and left very disappointed and mad. Your TTL's will not be good if you can't do it right the first time and continue to satisfy your customers. I worked for McDonald's for 23 years, as a manager for 16. I get it, but we always strived to make it right for every customer. Tougher these days. I work in retail, so i really do get it, but come on manager. I asked for 2 Oreo McFlurry’s and he said “NO you can’t, ice cream machine is broken” I then said to myself “oh god” because I knew it was a lie they tell everyone when they are too lazy to have cleaned the machine the night before. I didn’t say anything disrespectful to him. All I said was oh god, and then he immediately replied with “ I can tell the mechanic to not come and fix the machine, for you, would you like me to do that?” He said it very disrespectfully and rude, I could tell it was NOT sarcasm.. 1 out of 10 orders have been VERY old, wrong, or sometimes forgotten.
Today we ordered a triple cheese w/LG fry.
What we got was a very obviously old triple cheeseburger w/dry, orange cheese. A little dryness happens with a little heat lamp time time, I get it, but THIS was just beyond that and... gross.
The fries were half full and cold. Not luke warm, cold.
Our daughter fed the burger to our dog. He seemed okay with it.
I'll post 📸 of the burger and the dog eating it so people know I not being dishonest in my review. It was as bad as I have said.
Stuff is getting expensive. People deserve to get their money's worth. You all need to get your act together. 1 out of 10 times just isn't acceptable.
The day shift during the week is better at food and service, but the nights and weekends? Nope.
