Waffle House — Restaurant in Johns Creek

If there was an option to give this place a ZERO then I would’ve done it already but the ONLY reason why I gave two instead is because SOME of the employees are super nice, considerate, and friendly. They have treated me and my friends like family BUT keep in mind I said only a very few. (What’s upsetting is that I’m making this review sound good but it’s not.) The food there is good but it’s just the employees that makes want to AVOID that Waffle House location. Some of the employees are EXTREMELY rude and irritating. I don’t mean to come off ungrateful because like I said Waffle House in general is good (and keep in mind that I do not normally complain about food, so this is my first ever food review) it’s just the employees that makes me want to give this review a brutally honest one. I completely understand how important tip is (because I also worked at a food place before) and I always tip exceptionally well, too ‘cause like I said before I understand how important tip is and how hard people work. But the people in this Waffle House (the same employees every time I go there) are extremely very rude about tip. They’re extremely persistent about tip and they’re very rude about it. I’ve been in multiple occasions where they would remind you 3-5 times to tip within a minute. They’d give you a dirty look infront of you and they’d talk behind your back. They have judged me and my friends when we were not “fast” enough to tip. They snatched it away from us. I am so utterly angry and agitated that it happened to me again today that I am no longer interested in going to that Waffle House location. Today when I payed I told the woman to keep the change (keep in mind I was still searching for more money to give as a tip) as she said “wait, let me see how much change.” She gave me attitude after we exchanged a few words and she pulled out the coins and laid them on the counter table. She pointed, scoffed, gave me dirty eyes, and talked about me to the other waitress as I’m standing there. The two kept nagging about tip and gave some of my friends the dirty eye (and talked behind their backs) for not tipping more (after tipping 15-20%!) and that has happened to me and my family before, too. I've been to plenty of waffles houses, but this was, by far, not only the worst Waffle House I've been to, but the worst dining out experience I've ever had. My husband and I stopped by for dinner tonight, and literally everything was awful, service and food. The waitresses on staff spoke barely any English. The language barrier was so bad. So as you can imagine, our orders were wrong. I ordered light hashbrowns with cheese, instead I got burned hashbrowns with onions. My eggs were LITERALLY ice cold!! I've never had cold cheesy scrambled eggs, but they were awful, couldn't even eat them they were so cold. No jelly with the toast, had to ask twice. When I asked to correct the hashbrowns, she didn't understand what I was saying and never brought me new hashbrowns, so I asked the cook, who ended up giving me burned to a crisp hashbrowns - couldn't even eat them! I asked for heated up/warm syrup for my waffle...aaand she brings me a to-go cup?!?? She literally had no idea what I was asking. We asked multiple times for refills on our drinks, never got them. I asked for a light waffle, they had to cook 2 waffles before they got it even remotely light. Oh, and then to beat it all, while we are trying to choke down our food, the waitress asks if we can go ahead and pay and tip because she is ready to leave!! Never...

I have always had a good experience at this location. However, today’s experience lacked good customer service. We were a party of three. We order 1 decaf coffee, 1 Oj and 3 waters and placed our food order . Usually the beverages come shortly after being seated. I ordered the All Star Breakfast with sausage, two additional orders of hash browns, 2 orders of bacon and a Pecan Waffle. The server brought out the All Star Breakfast minus the Waffle. I had to ask for the coffee, ask for cream and sweetener. The server kept saying I’m bringing this, this is coming while other customers who were seated after us were beginning to get items they had ordered; which were some of the same items that we had ordered earlier. She brought the check before making sure we had received our complete order. I had to asked for a coffee refill. I explained to the server that we were being charged for items we never got. She asked do you want me to take those items off. She then said I will have to charge you for the waffle that comes with the All star breakfast even though I never received it. I asked to see the manager and was told he would be out shortly. I waited shortly, but left without sharing my...
