Uodate 5/16 - The location has reached out to me to offer a free project and I declined. They offered me a full refund if I changed my review to 5 stars. I let them know they could not purchase a 5 star review from me because I did not have a 5 star experience. There has been no further correspondence since and I do not think they are going to process any refund. For transparency, I paid $75 for this class.

Pros- Online booking is easy. There are plenty of time slots and choices, and the project/activity descriptions seem accurate.

The prices seem fair for the project and supplies used.

Cons- Our time slot had 9 people and we were all working on different projects. It didn't seem like they had enough instructors to really help the class effectively.

I chose the mosaic art piece. I don't really need instruction or help - just need the materials so I can get to work. It was a slow start as they were trying to set up 9 people at once, but once I got what I needed it was off to the races. They did have templates to use if you wanted but I was freestyling. You tape off the edges and then use resin to 'glue' your tiles directly onto the glass of the picture frame.

Online it said alternate size frames were available but that was not the case. Slightly disappointed, but fine. I got to work. The tile selection was great. Tons of different kinds and colors to choose from. They also could color or add glitter to your resin, which I took advantage of. When it was all said and done I was very pleased with my project! They said it had to dry for 12 hours but based on their store hours it would be a few days before I could pick it up. No worries and I went on my way.

Today I went to pick up my piece and I was honestly shocked. Someone had painted a border on my art piece. It was never discussed. Nobody called to inform me this would happen. This was not done on any of the pieces in the photo gallery online or on any of the displays at the store. I can only assume that they removed the blue tape and felt that it didn't look right in the existing frame because you could see the brown background.

Here's the thing - you have no idea what I wanted my piece to look like. I actually chose the glass tiles and transparent resin because I intended to have it in a float frame like a suncatcher. I did not want a painted border on my glass, and it was very sloppy. It looked bad.

It took me about two hours of scraping and nail polish remover to get most of that paint off. I put it in the float frame and now it's the way I had envisioned. Maybe this wouldn't be a big deal to some, but to me it was disrespectful.

Maybe this is a cool place for parties and kids. Maybe this is a good option for people who just want something to do. But this is clearly not the place for an artist and unfortunately I cannot recommend...

If you want to do something so so fun and relaxing COME TO THE HAWAII FLUID ART IN JOHN’s CREEK!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were first timers for this kind of experience and decided to come in for date night. Our instructor Esveyde was fantastic! Chill, helpful, great attitude and just fun to be around! Customer service is 100/10 here! We met one of the owners and she was also wonderful! The shop is clean and very well organized. The instructions are very easy to understand and all the materials are easy to use. The team was more amazing than I can describe in a short review - all I can say is come alone, come with adult friends, come with kids, come for team building, do a party…this is a great idea for a together activity for anyone! We did a resin canvas and a bear and both turned out so well! We will be booking again with our entire family soon! Thank you Hawaii Fluid Art for a one of a...

We did a fluid art painting party for our son’s birthday and it was such a unique and exciting experience! The setup was vibrant and well-organized, with everything we needed—canvases, a variety of colorful paints, plenty of space.

The instructor was fantastic, providing helpful tips and helping tilt the canvases. It was amazing to see how each person’s artwork turned out completely different, with beautiful swirling patterns and unexpected color blends.

The best part was the freedom to experiment—no pressure to be perfect, just pure creativity and fun. I’d highly recommend a fluid art painting party for anyone looking to explore their artistic side in a fun and stress-free way! Added bonus - beautiful big butterfly painted on the wall perfect for a backdrop for...

My grandson and I went to Hawaiian Art at John’s Creek today. What fun! 😊 He made a tumbler and I created a canvas with the help of my grandson! There are a wide variety of paints from which to choose, one on one instruction that was helpful and she was most patient , quality materials, a nice space, and a fun way to create in a professional work since! It would be fun for family gatherings, birthday parties, or for anyone who would like to create! Highly recommend! Pam Arena

What an amazing experience. We went for mother's Day and it was a big success. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful walking you through every step and helping you when you need it. They are cheery and amazing. There's lots of options and you can make changes and upgrades when you come here. We did the charcuterie board and wine glass combo which was excellent. Plan this for your next event or just a fun evening out.
