If I could give Alchemist Trading Co. more than five stars, I absolutely would! This place is, without a doubt, my home away from home. I genuinely look forward to coming here every single day, and it has become a core part of my daily routine. From the moment I walk through the door, I’m greeted by the friendliest faces and the most welcoming atmosphere. First and foremost, the matcha – oh my goodness – it’s simply perfection. Smooth, rich, and just the right balance of earthy and sweet. I’ve had matcha from countless cafés, but nothing compares to the way Alchemist Trading Co. But what truly makes this place special is the incredible team. The baristas here are more than just talented – they’re genuine, kind, and full of positive energy, making every visit a highlight of my day. Andres is an absolute gem. He always has a smile on his face and somehow manages to brighten my day with his hilarious jokes and easygoing personality. No matter how stressful my day is, a quick chat with Andres makes everything feel lighter. His kindness and warmth are truly unmatched. Lindsay is another superstar. She’s super funny and incredibly sweet. She brings such a joyful and relaxed energy to the café, and it’s impossible not to feel happier after interacting with her. Whether she’s expertly crafting drinks or cracking a joke, she makes every visit feel special. Lainey is absolutely wonderful as well. She’s so kind and attentive, always making sure everything is perfect. Her genuine friendliness makes the café feel like a second home. You can tell she truly cares about creating a welcoming space for everyone. On top of the amazing drinks and outstanding staff, the vibe of Alchemist Trading Co. is unbeatable. The music they play is always on point, creating the perfect backdrop for catching up with friends, getting some work done, or simply unwinding with a drink in hand. The whole atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to chill out or recharge. Honestly, I can’t imagine my days without Alchemist Trading Co. It’s not just a café – it’s a place filled with good energy, kindness, and genuine connections. Alchemist Trading Co, is a hot new cafe located in Johns Creek, GA. It's in the same shopping center Regal Movie Theaters on Medlock.

You probably seen this place blowing up a bit on Instagram and Yelp as of late. The interior is really sick. It sort of has a mystical and outer space vibe. They play on the alchemist theme a lot as you see multiple elements like gold, rock, crystals merging with each other through out the furniture and wall decor. A+ effort there in my book!

The location isn't too big. It's a small cafe, that will probably only accommodate a small crowd. If it gets packed you may have very limited seating options. So keep that in mind if you plan on bringing a big party. Otherwise, like most people it's pick up and go place.

The menu isn't too big. You have options for lattes and coffee as well juice. There is also snacks like avocado toast. To wrap up the menu they offer some desserts like affogato x ice cream too. Take a look at their menu to get a better idea of what that is.

My favorite go-to item is the Matcha Latte. Yeah, I know, it's pretty basic for the most part, but I find it refreshing and rich in flavor. Not too sweet and you can definitely taste the matcha as well. I've heard good things about the Avocado Toast here, I haven't tried it yet but that would be another recommendation if you want something a bit more solid. To be fair, most items on the menu should be pretty tasty, so definitely have a ball when you go. You can't go too wrong with most options. Have fun and explore menu.

Overall, keeping it short. You get some great quality for the price. It's really simple in terms of what they offer on the menu, but as long as it taste good, I'm not complaining!

This was my second time going to Alchemist and it was equally as pleasant as my first. This time around, I decided to get the avocado toast, matcha affogato, grapefruit ade, and honey matcha.

The avocado toast is a must try for anyone. It is well seasoned where it packs a lot of flavor without being too salty or overpowering. They did a good job keeping the integrity of the softness in the bread. I definitely recommend this to anyone who have not tried it.

The matcha affogato is essentially a matcha ice cream with matcha flavoring in and around it. It is topped with walnuts and a chocolate syrup which really compliments the ice cream itself. Any fans of matcha will be sure to enjoy this cold dessert here.

The grapefruit ade has a bit of a bitterness to it, just like the actual fruit. The reason is because they actually use REAL fruit in their drinks. The drink itself seems well populated with fresh fruit and in turn, brings out the most natural of flavors. It is also mixed in with sparkling water to give it some carbonation. Some may find it too bitter in which they provide extra sparkling water to help negate some of that.

The honey matcha is a great drink for those who do not handle dairy well. It has a clean matcha taste and is still very flavorful with a bit of sweetness to it due to the honey. Although, I prefer the matcha latte, it was a very refreshing drink to have with a pleasant aroma to it.
