Waffle House — Restaurant in Johnson City

When you come in to Waffle House for their fast service because your time is short for your lunch break and you have no time to waste, and your waitress in the pink shirt April, decided that after she took our drink orders to let us decide what we wanted, you dont want to see her standing there at the grill telling all her woes to the cook. Then when she finishes her chatting, she proceeds to come with our drinks and to get our order. I offered that we could move to the other side to another waitress if she was to busy and the she goes on to tell us she was busy taking a phone order. We were sitting there watching what she was doing, and it wasnt spending all that time taking an order, I never saw a phone in her hand. Cant find good help these...

Been here multiple times thinking they'll hire new people or get new management. Every time I am here the cook handles all raw meat, eggs, bread, and vegetables with same gloves on. Its different cooks too. I mean get out raw frozen hamburger or bacon break eggs and then put hands in bread bag, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, onions, handle finished toast to butter bread and plate it all wearing same plastic gloves. They do it in full view of their customers. The grills right there- u just have to watch them. They don't care. Who trains these people? Surely they wouldn't do that at home. It's a wonder nobody's died here yet....

Came in around 2-2:30 am in Piney Flatts. There were tables still dirty with dishes from previous customers, there was ontl 2 booths clean in the whole resturant.. We(party of 6) aet down, took the employees 15 mins to come take our order.. We finallt got our food(my husband & i) we were half way thru our meal when my husband found a long black hair in his Hashbrowns... He couldn't finish his food an it turned my stomach for him telling me an i saw the long black hair... We paid an left... We wont go back to the WAFFLE HOUSE in...
