Reali's Cuisine — Restaurant in Johnston

• I am editing review from below. Last time I was here the experience was mediocre at best. I felt as if the my waitress and cook had settled into a groupon state of mind, more about volume than quality.... My waitress seemed rushed and annoyed. We waited more than 10 minutes to order a drink just to start with. She brought the wrong app (we ordered stuffed mushroom, everytime) and then insisted we had ordered what she brought which was a bowl of mushrooms. When the correct app came out it was very good, however, my chicken was so tough I couldn't eat it. I didn't send it back, maybe I should have. Maybe it was just a bad night, IDK, but I work very hard and spending that kind of money on a meal is a rarity for me and taking a chance on a potential bad meal is unlikely. Jim, ditch the groupon and get back to fine cuisine.

Previous review: I can't say enough good things about the food and staff here. Quiet little owner operated dinner restaurant that has a intimate feel. The food is the BEST! Great service and very good drinks. I recommend it all the time to anyone looking for a fresh fantastic meal or romantic setting. They have a standard Italian dinner menu with apps, salads, soups, and pasta, chicken, steak, seafood dinners served with choice of offered sides. They also have dessert and coffee nightcap. Daily specials offered and the wait staff recites them perfectly! Everything is fresh and off street parking is available. Reservations recommended...

January 2022 update, though Julie has departed, Patty continues to assist us and Jim continues to cook food we love. We wait anxiously for the Covid virus to disappear so we can sit down inside and enjoy a truly delicious meal. Meanwhile, we continue to love it as takeout. Our "go to" restaurant for great Italian food. We have never been disappointed and always been delighted with the dinners we have enjoyed here. During the Covid we have not enjoyed eating at the restaurant, but it has not stopped us from doing take-out meals. Each time we order and pick up our meals, we are warmly greeted by staff members who make us feel as if we are part of their family. Among the first things we will do when we feel more comfortable going out is we will sit down at Reali's and be treated to the full dinner and...

We visited again for a mid-week pre-Christmas (2023) dinner with friends. Everything is the same - warm, friendly staff, delicious Italian food, reasonable prices. Josie was our server and was so warm and welcoming it was almost like dinner at mom's. James the busboy could not do enough to please us. Thanks to all for starting our Christmas season in a truly wonderful way. Cannot wait to get back.

Wonderful food, generous portions, super friendly staff. With social restrictions, we miss our frequent visits, but Jim and his staff offer the same great food and you get to see our favorite waitresses, Julie and Patty. We look forward to getting back to normal, seeing you all again and eating inside this great restaurant. And we hope that others will support you until then. ...
