The 78 Pub @ This Guy's Pizza — Restaurant in Johnston

A new found gem. Drove by for years but never stopped in since I don’t live close. I attended a baseball celebration at the pub. It was great. Food was delicious. Drinks were cold and bartender was excellent. Never had an empty glass. Played some Keno while enjoying the whole experience. I was completely satisfied. I was reluctant to order because there was just too many good options to choose from. I was recommended to try the “pickle me this flatbread pizza”. I wasn’t even hungry at this point but I said why not…. I’ll have one of those and an order of mozzarella sticks. It was absolutely delicious. Of coarse I couldn’t eat it all so I took it home to the wifey. She ate it and it sparked a whole new interest. I am writing this review tonight after we ordered takeout and the wifey raved about the pizza once again!!!! I don’t often post reviews but this establishment earned it. I got one of my favorite salads in a wrap!!!! Most places don’t even offer it. My kids got the chicken fingers and fries. Great feedback from them as well. I am looking forward to trying other items from the menu because I love trying new things all the time. I also noticed they have Karaoke on a certain night. Food is good, but the fact that i'm being called at 11am while im at work demanding a tip is beyond me. I understand you're going out your way to deliver my food but for people who are barely making it as it is and orders something quick while working long hour shifts and don't have enough to tip and can't leave work to get food it's pretty rude. Last time i'll order from this place going forward, making up a lie saying doordash is demanding you guys to demand tips? that's a lie. I've ordered from this place multiple times and tipped when i could and when i couldn't i never gotten a call demanding tips idk who the man was but check yourself before you decide to call someone and demand something.

Calling someone demanding a tip is unprofessional, i understand where you are coming from but calling someone at 11am in the morning demanding a tip is unprofessional. Looking out for your staff is by speaking with doordash directly and having them change it on their app where you NEED to be tipped . Not calling your customers demanding a tip over the phone and making your customers uncomfortable . There's a different bud. You handled this poorly. Your response to the review just...
