Bernie´s Jerk Kitchen — Restaurant in Joliet

I've been looking for a good soul food place in Joliet. I get so tired of driving to Chicago to find good tasting food. I've tried other soul food places In Joliet but this one by far has been the best!!! I've been about 5 times since I recently found out about it just randomly on Google. And each and every time I have never been disappointed!!! The first meal I tried was the jerk lamb chops with the mac and cheese and yams. soooooo good!!!! I loved every bite. Although I do wish they offered cornbread with the dinners and not just on Sundays my experience at Bernie's has been exactly what Ive been looking for. I also tried the catfish dinner. Very delicious! The greens!! so good. Overall 10/10...

Food is worth checking out. I had the jerk tip, catfish, lasagna, mac n cheese, mash potatoes, and yams. Really good! it is difficult to find places that still cooks amazing food. already planning my next visit. Only thing that could have been better is having a side of sauce...
