This place used to be great. I have been coming here for seven years almost weekly however, the place has really changed since Covid. The prices have skyrocketed - literally doubled. I get prices are going up everywhere, but this is crazy. Not to mention, at least 50% of the time the order I get is not what I asked for. I am not picky - I will eat whatever I discover they've given me - but with double the price you would like to expect what you ordered. Today was it for me though. I ordered my dinner, paid $10.50 (used to be $5) and walked away with my soda to wait for the food. The food presented to me was not the dinner, so I told the woman at the window and presented my receipt. My receipt listed my tacos ($6.50) and cebollitos ($3). I said I don't know what that charge is, but I paid for the dinner. The woman told me the $3 was for a soda (that's not what the word means in Spanish or English). She then charged me for rice & beans ($2). I didn't argue beause half the time the dinner includes a soda, and half the time it doesn't - it just depends on who is working that day. There are alot of great taco restaurants in the area - I will definitely be giving them my business...
Read moreReally Good stuff and easy on the wallet. REVISED: Tiny street tacos are now $2 each for a taco with about a teaspoon of meat. Still taste good but now smaller and cost double the last time I visited. Now a lousy value. Cross this one off my list. New update. We decided to give taco truck another chance, we used to love the place. Last night bought 2 taco dinners, 2 elotes cups and 5 pork tacos. Tortillas are even smalle now like 3 1/2 inches wide. Steak nothing but dried out gristel. Pork ok except for the tortillas which on the pork and steak were like biting thru a rubber shoe. The elotes hardly had a teaspoon of Mayo on top of corn with a lot of water in the cup. All the Mayo did was make the water look like milk, no noticable cojita cheese. Absolute disappointment. Total waste of $40. No...
Read moreWe visited the original taco truck today for the first time while we were in town. I got the three taco dinner with beans and rice on the side added cheese. They tasted great I have to admit the El pastor and the asada where my favorite. We sat outside to enjoy our meals and it all tasted great and seriously the prices were wonderful! After eating we went into the grocery store that is attached to the building. I was unsure if they have the same owners or not but I have included the pictures and then post of the conjoining store behind the restaurant. Great prices in the store in a lot of variety including fresh meat, snacks, household items, candles, and dairy products to choose from they even have food that is hot and ready including to chicharones! We purchased a bunch of candy to take home...
