It was our first time here. This place was a fun environment. We came in at 9pm and started out with Fran. She was such a fun and light bartender. Our drinks were great and she was very attentive. It seemed like all the regulars knew her. Then Melissa came in about an hour in and our drinks were weaker, and the barback started taking more drink orders since she had friends in the bar. Our group, who never complains, did not leave her a tip. She confronted us , like a teenager, about leaving a $0 tip on a $60 bill. We explained all the problems we had and she just laughed and said she couldn't believe it and began telling the whole bar about it. While we "should have" left a tip, we continued to explain to Fran, who was still there, why we didn't. She was still very patient and understanding. Apologized to us. We apologized to her and let HER know how great she was but Melissa was not. As young 20 year olds, we go to a lot of bars. I have never left a $0 tip but Melissa was no good. I recommend going earlier to get Fran. Great job ......

This place is great and i have been going there since 2013. It used to be a Great Blackhawks bar but for whatever reason it stopped. (had a red light on the ceiling when they scored and loud train horn that mimmicks being there) but its no longer there and they don't even put the game on anymore (yes, i want to watch even if they are not good anymore). But prices are good and the Frozen pizzas are incredible. I sometimes go for the pizza (and im not joking...their meatlovers is incredible and i still cant get over that its frozen pizza). Anyway, great bartenders, very nice atmosphere overall. It is located in the nice part of Joliet so every once in a while you get riff raff from the east side make its way there (hence negative reviews). 5...

"I had an incredibly disappointing experience at On the Rocks. After waiting for over 10 minutes without any acknowledgment, I felt completely ignored. It seemed like the bartender was more interested in flirting with other customers than in providing service. When she finally approached me, her first question was whether I was gay. This blatant discrimination was unacceptable and left me feeling uncomfortable. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Terrible service and a lack of professionalism make this a place...
