Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Jonestown

Friday evening my family and I ordered pizza that was set to be ready by 5:15. We arrived shortly after and even though our app said “ready” and the tv up top with our name and status said “ready”, there were no pizzas for me to pick up. There was ongoing conversation, and I was under the impression my pizzas were coming. I was in constant communication with the girl working in the front who was kind, and also under the impression my pizzas were coming. It was made known to those making pizzas that my order wasn’t ready. After countless check ins, it was going on 6:00. I had been there at least 40 minutes. I was listening constantly and heard that the only thing they were waiting on was a cheese pizza. I stated I’d like them to refund that pizza, and I will just take what was ready because my kids needed to eat. It was then discovered that NONE of my order was ready even after I had been standing there for 40 minutes. No apologies from the manager in any way. Just that he would refund it. The girl in the front then actually looked up my receipt and said our pizza was marked picked up so I informed her that our pizzas were given to someone else if they were made. Still no apology or anything offered and we walked out with zero dinner. At no point in me standing there was I told our pizzas were not ready AT ALL or being made at all. I wouldn’t have wasted my time...

I've been hearing a lot of negativity about this place but decided to give it a try since we were craving one of those stuffed crust pizzas they keep advertising during baseball. I ordered online but thought it odd that it didn't change in 20 minutes so I drove to the store and saw they were getting slammed. I sat inside for about 30 more minutes and I witnessed someone come in to ask to cancel their order because it was taking so long. Fair enough. I was a little annoyed, too, but I could see how hard they were working. 2 people making pies, one on the counter & oven and a delivery driver. I dunno how many people they ought to have but they were really in the weeds. Plus it didn't help that it was around dinner time.

As for the food? We got a medium pepperoni and bacon stuffed crust and a stuffed jalapeno bread thing. I dunno what people online were complaining about bland food for? The pizza was standard dominoes quality and I really liked the jalapeño bread. We'll definitely order here again but maybe not if we're hangry or in a hurry. Patience...

I have to add an edit to my review. I still give 5 stars. But even though tonights delivery took longer than normal, they made up for it. Its a Saturday night, of course they will he overwhelmed with orders. My food was still delicious and service as always was awesome.

We've been ordering delivery from this place since it opened, we always have great service and great food. Obviously there's gonna be a time or two it's not at 100% but I can always look past those times since usually we always get amazing service and product.

But I had to write a review tonight. The food and service tonight was absolutely blown of out the water. Food was still super hot and fresh when we received it and delivery was fast and friendly.
