I've been going there several times this month, lately and the food is good, but it seems like there's always some kind of issue. The last visit was a little mind boggling because I ordered the chicken tenders with 2 sides, 1 being French fries and the other potato salad. I asked how many chicken tenders come with it and they said 5 (10.99 was the price for the meal) and I was thinking wow, you know, they always give a huge portion of fries and the potato salad portion was good too... 5 chicken tenders sounded like a lot to me and I could share some with my daughter. When I got the 5 chicken tenders, they were SO tiny!!! For 10.99 i basically got way too many fries and some potato salad with tiny chicken tenders. That was a bummer. They said they have them that small because they want to keep them tender.. okay, I get that but at least offer more tenders.. the 5 that I got maybe equated one and a half regular sized tenders. Either lower the price or add more to the portion size. The food was good.. it just sucked paying for mostly potatoes and getting very little for the entree... We're not going to eat here again because something happens every time we go there and we just want a place to dine and enjoy the food. The staff is just fine and friendly and the place always looks clean.

On our way to Florida we stopped in this little town for a night. On our way we decided to try this place instead of the Cracker Barrel across the street. Big place with plenty of parking. We sat in a booth and my bench side was super sticky. I ordered biscuits and gravy and my husband got a bologna English muffin and hash browns. Mine was ok. Biscuits weren’t cooked all the way through and they could have used a little bit of spice but overall ok. My husbands wasn’t great but it was ok. Our waitress was super nice and is the reason we gave this a 3 star vs a 2. If you like a good greasy southern breakfast this is a great place to try out. Note: they did have a veggie omelet for those that try to be vegetarian. Probably not the place for a vegan. But I understand they have “liver mush”. We had to look it up. 🤢

We came all the way from Las Vegas to have the best breakfast ever. Big Stephanie at Breakfast Time in Jonesville, NC, gave us exceptional service. I had the Andrea's Sampler which came with scrambled eggs, a beautiful biscuit, ham, sausage, and a fried pork loin. I chose the home fries which were cooked soft and tasty. My wife had the Turkey Platter. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, fluffy, and not the least bit burned. We enjoyed fast and exceptional service. I wish they had these in vegas. The music was pleasant 60's and 70's music but was at a low enough volume that we could still hear ourselves converse. If you're ever in the Jonesville/Elkin, NC area, this is a great place to spend breakfast time.

Made the mistake of going on Easter morning for breakfast. We were in line and had been there a minute with a large crowd in front of us nobody was seating anyone then this couple comes in and just bypasses everyone everyone including employees seen and didn't nothing there was only 2 people so they were not with a party or waiting on anyone and they went ahead and seated them then the party in front of us not sure why the couple of 2 were not told to wait in line but I don't think they were that special to be able to pass everyone when we get up the the stand to be seated this older lady with white blondish hair was rude and tells us we will have to wait a minute I was like wow you are not nice whatsoever finally we get seated one person in my party got the Virginia ham and scrambled eggs I got the county ham eggs and grits the other in our party got the special. When the food come we started to eat and the one with the Virginia ham picked it up and there as a hair on the bottom sticking out the side of meat nobody was eating at the table as we were looking at the hair and trying to get our waitresses attention after several tries another waitress notice us and asked if she could help she was told about the hair and was asked to have the whole plate remade she says ok and take the plate we wait so we can all eat together finally our waitress comes over and ask how things are we point to where the plate should be and tell her about the hair she of course knew nothing about it so I'm guessing they would have never gotten their plate so the plate is brought back with a new piece of ham but the plate had not been redone because the eggs had a funny line down the middle which I'm pretty sure couldn't be repeated perfectly like it was. Someone needs to call the health department on that alone i tried my grits and they were all gritty definitely not cooked properly definitely not worth eating the county ham was so dry and stiff it could not be cut with a knife it was like biting old beef jerky total disappointment the special that the other member of the party got was eating and had to stop and go to the bathroom to get sick not sure if it was undercooked product or unsanitary kitchen procedures this place is a total bust don't understand way anyone would want to come here i mean we did nothing from the time we walked in the door and the first person we come in contact with was a rude lady should have been a sign to leave then but food making you sick before you even leave the restaurant?? Someone needs to do some...

TL;DR: Unprofessional. Unsanitary. Unable to handle normal Sunday Lunch rush. Staff don't communicate with each other. Small portions for overpriced and overcooked food. Poor management. Avoid at all costs.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for years but never again after this last Sunday. I went with my two small children for some breakfast. It was packed but it didn't take too long to get seated. It's very popular in my town.

After we were sat it took 30 minutes to get two pancakes and an omelet. I got hasbrowns as my side for the omelet and received 1/3 a normal portions.

I wasn't going to say anything because it was my favorite breakfast spot and they were very busy.

Where it went completely sideways was when my daughter needed to use the bathroom. She's old enough to go by herself but like I said it was busy and the bathroom was on the opposite side of the restaurant. So as a family we all got up to go to the bathroom together. All I all I was away from my table for maybe five minutes before we left the bathroom and the hostess told me as I was heading back that they cleared my table. I hadn't even gotten half way thru the meal nor had I received my ticket. They offered to pull my plates from the dishwasher and scavenge what ever food hadn't been thrown away yet but that sounded very unsanitary and disgusting.

What's worse is the manager wouldn't talk to me or even offer me a discount for throwing my food away before I was done and giving my table to another customer. I ended paying the ticket because they would have just made my server pay for my bill if I walked out and it wasn't her fault. The manager and the hostess are completely at fault. They shouldn't be clearing tables until the server says they at least gave me a ticket.

Overall I will never go back and will actively tell everyone I know to not go. It's gone down hill lately. Maybe if the get new managers and hostesses that are calm and levelheaded and care about their regulars it will get better. Awful awful awful never...

We went April 20th about 8 am for breakfast. When we got there we got in line to be seated. Nobody was seating anyone for a long time. So the people behind us decided to pass us in line. Which nothing was said to them by the staff or us because I'm not looking to argue. So then we get to the stand to be seated there is this older lady with long white/light blonde hair. She was extremely unpleasant to be around. Waitresses were walking up asking where they were to go and she was grouchy to say the least during this time she tells us we will have to wait a minute. Finally we get seated and my child wants the Virginia ham and scrambled eggs. My husband gets the county ham and I got a loaded plate that was on special. When the food come out it looked OK. My child picked up the piece of ham and there was a hair on it. Never could get our waitresses attention but another one did notice us trying so she asked if she could help. I told her about the hair and asked for the plate to be remade because that is a hair!! Unsanitary!! Finally our waitress come over and goes is everything ok? I was like his plate had to be sent back and of course this was news to her but yet they wear earphones so couldn't someone give her a heads up? Then they bring my child's plate back out and all they had done was put a new piece of ham on the same plate. I know this because I remember how there was a line down the middle of the eggs. Have to be pretty good to make the same line twice. Totally Unsanitary and nasty. My husband got country ham and it was so hard it was almost impossible to cut with the knife and it reminded me of jerky. Hard to bite a piece off. Also his grits were grainy like they were not cook correctly. I didn't not even finish before I had to head to the bathroom and got sick. I picked this restaurant because it was seat down type and the copper pot was closed for Easter. But trust me we want be back. This place deserves less then a one star and a visit from the...
