This was my very first time in 3 native next to leftovers and so excited to get an aƧaĆ bowl. A friend of mine had brought one to work and shared it with me and was so delicious. First, I noticed the place had a pleasant eating area even though I was picking up to take to work. The cashier finished up the order ahead of me and I was next. I was waiting patiently for her to finish and I would be next. There was a woman who came after me and waiting to the left of me and another person who came in to the right. I stepped up to the cashier and she immediately asked the lady to the left of me if she was picking up and obviously she was. I didnāt mind but she could have at least acknowledged me first. I would have understood if she was just picking up. I told her my order and she seemed quite short with me. When my order arrived, she quickly handed it to me. I said āDo you have any honey? She says ādid you ask for honey? ā I said I didnāt know if I needed to. I get in my car to head back to work and excited to eat my aƧaĆ bowl. I get to my desk and open the bag and to my horror I noticed coconut shavings on my blueberries and I am allergic unfortunately. If this was a peanut allergy everyone would be freaking out. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI frequent the Abacoa 3 natives. I typically add peanut butter to the base of my aƧaĆ bowl. When ordering on the website there is no option to ADD peanut butter. Since the website has never had the option, I have always called in my order. Today an automated message answered the phone saying they no longer take over the phone orders. I ordered my aƧaĆ bowl online and decided to click āadd peanut butter as baseā. I did this so it would basically charge me for the peanut butter.
On the Special instructions: Please add peanut butter to AĆAĆ base. There is no option to add on the website.
When my wife arrived the bowl was made incorrectly with the full peanut butter base and no aƧaĆ. The employees never looked at the ticket. When my wife explained the issue, showed them the note, and asked for the small bowl to be remade, the employees REFUSED. 3 separate employees arguing with her that it was already made so we should ājust take itā. I sent my daughter back in to see if we could simply get a credit and get 2 different smoothies? They said, āNO we canāt give you any credit or even a discountā, and charged us for 2 more smoothies..?
Needless to say it was a lot of expense $$ for very little reward. šš» Would NOT recommend this particular location (the one by Leftovers restaurant). Not just because their smoothies are tasteless but mainly because of the very poor costumer service! I use to own a small cafe myself, I would NEVER treat my customers that way!! I truly lived by: āthe customer is always rightā motto!
Seems like the new norm in customer service is to treat customer poorly and then make them pay for your mistakes??!...
