I have been here before and I liked the food. Today, it was different. When I got there there were at least 25ppl. I asked people where the line was and noone open their mouth. I saw a short man at the end of the line, so I got behind me. He looked at me like if I owe him money! I didn't care because I always intimidate men, by my stature and other attributes, the Lord has given me. The people working there were working fast to try to move the line along. As I am getting close to the front to order, two men come infront of me and I immediately, tell them to get behind me. The short man with this awful attitude almost yelling at me says that those two are with him! So, they go infront of me, with no respect, laughing. I told the short man, "They're with you?" He did not reply. I am really upset, I can't believe these disrespectful douchebags cut infront of me! They're laughing and saying profanity! That made me more upset. The short man is using profanity and trying to be the clown of the group. To me, he was making horrible faces, with his friends he was laughing and using profanity. I should have left, but I had my heart set on Chinese Food. This idiots need to know that you cannot use profanity in a public place, it's against the law! I could have called the Police, I could have say something to them, but, I guess God is changing me. Because I could have told them off right there! But, I could see that they're LOWLIFES. They probably work around there, and I could probably find out were exactly, but for what? Their Employers know exactly who they're! What are they going to say? So, I ordered and pay for my food. While the line had slow down, I got close to the counter and I tried to tell one of the employees, what had happened. She said : "They always come in a group!" So, they know who they're and probably had heard their filthy mouths. She lady said she would mentioned it to the Management and that was it! When I got home, the food was soggy. The Orange chicken that we love was not crispy, like it should be! The food was cold and soggy. I only live about five minutes away. The food must have been Hot and it wasn't! This place was great when I first went there. But, if the food is going to be cold and in order to be able to order, I have to put up with the shenanigans and profanity of idiots, then thanks but no thanks! I also saw one woman placing food right down the counter. No wonder the food is...
Read moreI ordered a delivery from here, and it went through DoorDash. Shout out to Owusu for delivering my food early and having to deal with the confusing mess of this place. I ordered coconut shrimp, orange tofu, cream cheese wontons, sesame balls, milk tea boba, Thai tea boba, and veggie rolls. The wontons and the veggie rolls taste like all of the other ones.
The orange tofu is okay, but tofu is hard to manipulate and season. The orange sauce doesn't have a citrus taste to it, and there's a lot of it. The sauce is a little tangy and not too sweet. When you push on the tofu and then release it, it'll soak up the juice. Not too bad., but I wouldn't get it again.
Coconut shrimp is my favorite so I'm giving it ten stars! I've always loved coconut shrimp and when the place that used to have this dish closed, I was upset. They also don't make it crunchy which I love! The coconut sauce causes my mouth to water. I love it!
Now the teas are kinda new to me. I love the Thai tea! It tastes amazing! Not a boba fan because I don't like things gushing in my mouth, but I like this tea. The milk tea is just like a typical tea with milk. There nothing new about it. The boba in it doesn't heighten the flavor at all. The milk tea is very refreshing if you're looking for a simple drink.
The most confusing dish were the sesame seed balls. It's something I've never ever had. It's very chewy. Chew it well or you might choke. It's greasy, so have some wet wipes available. This dish has a nutty flavor that's sweet and inviting. The bean paste is sweet. I didn't even know that beans could be sweet. My first bite of the sesame seed balls were confusing since it was new to me, but man is it good. It's the sweet nutty taste that has me hooked.
Overall, I'd definitely order from this place again since it did satisfy my cravings for something different and new. Long story short, I'm from the South and where I'm from, we don't get nice high quality food like this. This...
