I took my own life into my hands by swimming upstream on Stadium Drive at nine-ish in the morning, intending to pick up a couple of sausage biscuits and hash browns for my teen son at McDonald's. Mind you, I am not a fan of fast food myself (with the exception of places that serve tacos and the like) and fully admit I get an emotional rash at the thought of sitting in a dual drive-thru line of 1337 cars crawling at .000314 miles an hour to enjoy the dubious "convenience" of never having to leave their vehicles. The McRestaurant on Stadium is the only one close by that currently allows in-store ordering; the process is normally very fast and trouble free. I attempted to turn right to park as usual, however the parking lot was both blocked by massive construction equipment turning the pavement into chunks, leaving the jammed drive-thru as the only option. The lines were backed out nearly to the street. I was unable to even turn around, so I had to reverse back out onto Stadium, praying a speeding car would not turn my car to vapor. No-go. I managed to get out and turn around in the next parking lot, using lots of four-letter words. I then saw Burger King two doors down. Bingo. My son would still get quick breakfast. I was the only person in the drive-thru, the associate who helped me was fast, accurate and friendly, and I was on my way back home before you could say Whopper. If I should feel like hunting and gathering cheap fast food quickly again, I will give Burger King a shot again...thank you, King, for saving me from two hours in line and a world...
Read moreWent to simply order for me and my 2 kids. Ordered a 4 piece nugget for my one year old when I look at the receipt it says they ring me up for 4 10 piece nuggets. I politely tell the cashier at the window that I only wanted a 4 piece nugget keep in mind I had several more things on my order. The manager who I believe her name is Heather came to the window to give me the refund for the nuggets. I’ve politely ask her if she is going to refund the difference and when I would get my money for the difference. She became rude saying what do I think if she is giving me a refund. I politely say I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on due to it never being explained prior, she just handed me the receipt. She rudely tells me that I am calling her a thief and slam the drive thru window in my face. At this point I’m very upset I go in and ask for the corporate number that she refuses to give me. We argued back and forth as she continue to accuse me of calling her a thief, told me I don’t have any hair (maybe due to me being black), pointed her finger in my face, and said many other rude things while there is a tire full of customers. Heather if that is her name is a very rude and nasty person. This is not the first time I had a problem with this Burger King. Most of the time when I order my food is always cold or in fresh. This was just the icing on the cake for me. I don’t recommend anybody to this place. By the way I am an all natural black women with hair down my back that was in a bun for the...
Read moreWent inside to order food. There were 3 employees. They got my sandwich wrong. Went to counter and asked for a remake. Female worker gave my sandwich to grill worker. Grill worker grabbed sandwich. Watched employee slam dunk my burger into trash, then realize he needed the sticker to remake it. Without hesitation or taking gloves off he reached directly into trash to pull the sticker off wrapper. Then proceeded to reach into meat trays and try to keep making my food without using any utensils. I watched this ENTIRE thing unfold and had to yell out behind the counter to the manger to stop that immediately. The guy working grill became animated and belligerent. The female worker told him to go home and he was going to be written up; all he did was call her foul names, yell, and swear. I refused a refund and a remake of my sandwich when Mike came out to conversate to me, the asst. manager who said he came to cover from Westnedge store. If you cannot handle putting bacon and 1 extra patty on my sandwich and then go full swing aggressive over me calling you out on violating health and food safety laws, then be my guess. I am done eating at this establishment or anywhere their grill worker is employed. If my wife gets sick due to that specific employee, I will handle...
