Grandma Bair's Family Restaurant and Catering — Restaurant in Kane

If I could give less then 1 star I would.... I have eaten at this place on 2 separate occasions, both experiences with this so called resturant were horrible...this town has very little to offer in the way of great places to eat at to begin with & this is by far the worst place, The 1st time I was there service was poor, slow & understaffed, I also got a long black hair in my food. My most recent visit last weekend with my son was even worse, both of the waitresses were very rude,unattentive & deliberately ignoring us...it took almost an hour just to be served & on top of the yet again very poor & slow service, when I asked the waitress if the water she had served me was from the tap, as it tasted disgusting...she rudely snapped back yep it is, welcome to kane & then laughed & kept on going, with no offer of anything else in it's place or even an apology for the taste, then she went to the next table & happily bragged to another customer how she had just treated me...it took about 10 more minutes before I could flag down the other waitress to ask for a bottle of water. Afterwards I went home feeling sick & for the next 4 days I stayed sick...I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning since I've had it before I know how it feels & you can bet I will never go back to this place again. The health department sure needs to investigate this restaurant & the owners need to do better when hiring staff, if they aren't happy serving others then they shouldn't work with the public. Also not one person in this restaurant was wearing a pair gloves while hadeling any of the food. Shame on you for treating...

Me and my wife Stopped in for supper .we go there quit a bit this was the last time. My wife ordered the chicken tenders when the waitress brought them it was chicken wings not tenders when we asked the waitress about this she told us they had Stopped selling tenders it was all wings now. Why are they still on the menu. She proceded to charge us 12.99 for wings when the tenders were 8.99 we also ordered a side of fries that was on the menu for 3.00 but was charge 6.00. Why. We was told prices change. The bill for the 2 of us was 38.00. It has never been that high and will never again as this was the last time we will ever go there. Texas hot looks...

My husband & I stopped in to get a bite to eat there as we ate there twice before & the food was good! We were just not happy that when our food came out to us that it was just warm & it should have been really hot! There was only 1 other table in there & they already been waited on so it wasn’t like they were really busy & something was overlooked because everything was just warm not very hot at all !! I also felt that it was a little pricey for what we got!! The young man that waited on us was very patient. We ate what we could before it was really cold then took the rest to go! Paid our bill & left the young man a tip then left! We probably will...
