This chains seems to be the only place we visit as we drive to and from Champaign to visit our son in college. Regardless of the location, the set up seems the same. Entry way and walk up counter to order, seats to wait to take out or sit in the restaurant and they bring the food to you. I have never ordered the pizza myself as I'm lactose intolerant. My wife loves the pizza. I've had the wings and breadsticks. I think at one time I may even have had a slice. It's decent pizza for a rest stop. The restaurants are homey and are a lot nicer than the fast food options along the way.
This location is listed to get off the highway at a certain exit. It is the wrong one as it's the long way to the restaurant. Lots of weird turns and alley-like roads to get here.
Though, of all the locations we've stopped at, the Kankakee location was the nicest. It's a good place to stop on the way somewhere else and in case you live nearby, it's a decent place to grab a slice, eat some decent wings, and have a nice,...

Monical's has bowed down to the Covid gods. The buffet is gone. The buffet across the street is open. Where's your buffet, Monical's? The condiment bottles are gone. Salad dressings now come in little carry out cups, barely big enough for one person, let alone a small group. The food, in general, was not great. Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. There was only one other group in the building. Probably because everyone else was at the buffet...
Read moreDisappointed. I usually have good luck here but they must be in a temporary downslide. Bathrooms not clean at all, no towels, DONT get the crust less pizza bowl. You basically get the equivalent of 2 slices of pizza scraped into a shallow bowl with 4 toppings, I ordered steak, mushroom, onion and pepper. Got 1 tiny cube of steak, a half gallon of marinara and quite a bit of onion pepper and mushroom. Waste of money($10) ,should be an appetizer at most. The diet Pepsi was off, syrup-wise. On the bright side, I love thier thin crust cheese pizza cut in bite size squares. Not quite enough to get me back...
