Kannapolis Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Kannapolis

If I could give this place zero stars I would. When I walked in it was apparent that nothing had been done to the place to update it from when it was McCabes a million years ago. We were seated quickly and given 2 sets of silverware even though there was 3 of us. They brought 2 rolls that could have been used for hockey pucks. One of them I actually knocked on with my nuckles and you could hear it. My husband tried the least hard of the hard rolls and said it was nasty. The menu was odd. One of the choices was a burger which was fine but it said it came with the soup of the day and rice. All of the sandwiches came with those even a patty melt and fish. Or for the steak you had a choice of vegetables though no choices were listed. When the waitress took our order we were told they were out of all sandwiches except burgers. They had about 20 sandwiches on the menu. We heard another waitress tell someone else they didn't have what they wanted either. It took about 30 minutes to get the food. We asked for salt and ketchup 3 times but never got it. Our favorite part though was after asking for more napkins 3 times and never getting any( the napkins came with the utensils and we never got utensils for the third person) we finally decided to rip the napkin we had in two so we could both have one. My sons dinner said it came with dessert but we never saw our waitress after she dropped off the ticket ( the same time she brought the food) to ask. There was no desserts listed on the menu. When it came time to pay I had to wait at the register for 15 minutes while the cashier was bussing tables in the dining room. One poor woman waited so long for her take out order she feel asleep!! I did hear another customer ask the manager why they didn't have the things on the menu and he said they had everything and that the customer must have misunderstood the waitress as she was just listing the...

Spent an hour and 40 minutes here after being seated and the food was not good. We went here today with a group of 11. We called ahead to make sure we could be seated and were very quickly. Sadly, this is virtually the only positive about this experience. It took about 15 minutes to have our order taken at which time we were told there were no scallops and it would be a $4 charge to share a plate with for a child. Let it be known there were only 2 options on the kids menu. We then waited almost 45 minutes to get our soups and salads. The soup was fine but nothing more and a heads up to any ranch lovers, the ranch is sweet (perhaps made with miracle whip). We then waited about 20-25 minutes to get our food. The seafood Alfredo did end up having maybe 4 scallops that were RANCID. The sandwich one of the individuals in our party ordered was wrong. Kannapolis Family Restaurant.... here is my review. We waited 20 min to get a seat and there was no one in line. I get it, no one wants to work. We get seated, and they take our drink order. After our drinks are brought out, they let us know.... They are out of any sandwiches except grilled cheese (hamburgers included) No chicken at all, of any kind.

There are 5 adults in our party, and not a single one of us could have eaten the meal we wanted to.

Am I wrong in thinking this should have been shared with us before sitting down? It’s a very limited menu...
