Dale-Ray Fabrics — Local services in Kannapolis

I think that Dale-Ray may be the best fabric store in the Charlotte area. I went to two other stores, one in Huntersville and the other in Charlotte, and Dale-Ray had the best and largest selection imo. In addition, the staff are super helpful. Prices are average but on my first trip, the staff found me a 4 yard remnant I could use to do my dining room chairs for only $9/ yard! Their fabrics are beautiful and they get new stuff in all the time. On my last trip there, I discovered the back room that has even more fabrics. I found the fabric I wanted for another project for $12/ yard. And their warehouse has literally hundreds of fabrics. It's a family owned business that's been there for years. If you are looking for fabric and fantastic customer service come here! They absolutely set a standard of care for their customers that makes any other establishment less than. I had the pleasure of speaking to and learning from the owner himself, Dale, who has over 40 years of experience with upholstery! I was beyond impressed with my very first visit to this store. I came in just looking for fabric for a little diy chair I found for free online. With no prior experience with fabric, Dale and his daughter were a god send. I recommend everyone to come here (not all at once lol). Upholstery services provided, the LARGEST selection of fabrics and friendly faces of course! I will be returning for my next project! Also. I stopped in during a recent trip to visit family In Kannapolis. The selection of fabric at this store was amazing! They have beautiful prints, colors, textures, you name it, they had it. I knew that I would find exactly what I needed to recover my kitchen chairs here and I did. We also received very helpful and friendly service from the lady who assisted us.
