At Dominoes Pizza, if they are 1 second late with your order or they mess up your order, they give usually give you your food for free OR at least comp it with a discount or give you a free item. Last week, I joined a friend in ordering food online at a different pizza hut location. We were in the Hut Lane at the exact time given for pick-up. Somehow, one of our pizzas were given to another customer and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to make another for us. We were not comped any discount, given food for free, or given anything to compensate for your mistake. Now, yesterday I order food online from this pizza hut location. I was in the Hut Lane right at the pick-up time. Low and behold, the employee tells me that my order of wings were messed up and I would have to wait 15 minutes for them to remake my wings. No mention of free food, comp discount, or anything at all to compensate for your error. That is 2 fails from pizza hut in a short period of time with absolutely NO EFFORT on your part to compensate for your mistake. In comparison, had I ordered from Dominoes they would have went the extra mile to right their wrongs and compensate me for their errors and the extra time I had to wait. In summary, it appears that customer service really sucks at pizza hut. Interestingly, of course I tipped ahead of time online for service that ended up being terrible. I am a very reasonable person and totally understand the dynamics of Covid-19. I myself work in the hospital emergency room so I am very aware of that. But where is the "i am sorry" from pizza hut. Where is the "let me give you a free dessert or a gift card to use towards your next order" response to these 2 separate orders and 2 different locations. As you now know, I work in the hospital ER so hopefully you understand that I work very hard for my money. I am being honest when I say it makes me very upset that I spent my hard-earned money at pizza hut twice recently and both times I had a horrible experience and pizza hut did NOTHING to make it better. Pizza Hut has certainly dropped the ball as far as I...
Read moreStated they delivered the pizza as my order states. However they never did. I was sitting in the front room right next to my front door and my brother was smoking during the estimated delivery time. When I called to inquire about my order, they stated that the driver, Noah, had delivered it and knocked on my door. They proceeded to ask me for the color of my truck. I gave them the color, make, and model. I could hear laughter in the background as they handed me off to the manager, Mindy. And may I say that she is the most disrespectful and unprofessional sorry excuse of a manager that I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. She started off by trying to blame the customer because of the order instructions, then told me that they gave me the information on my truck, which is total nonsense because they specifically asked me about my truck. Then, Mindy, the star that she is, defended her sorry behavior as a manger and only offered a credit. Which also makes literally zero sense as I checked out as a guest. The fact of matter is, the driver, Noah, never made contact with me or even attempted to make sure we received the order. Even though that's pizza huts policy. Mindy, when you read this, please find another job. Management isn't for disgusting people like you and I look forward to talking with corporate. And yes, I did cuss you out at the end of the call. Your trailer park level of professionalism is astonishing. In the end, it's Pizza Huts responsibility to ensure the customer gets the product that he or she paid for. You failed as a business on this transaction, so why in the world would I want to have a credit with you for a future...
Read moreI love Pizza Hut. We order several times a month. But last night I got an email order confirmation for several pizzas, wings, garlic bread, a party full of items but it was in North Carolina and I live in California! It was too late to stop the order when I logged into my account, I'd been hacked and they used all my Hut Rewards! I was given the # to get my rewards back but that's not enough. The manager should have gotten on the phone with me and apologized for filling an order not on my account. I realize with their system they have no way of knowing the account origin and who's ordering, that is where they need to take action. They need to formulate an algorithm that can check the account holders location and the location of the delivery. An email isn't going to cut it. I don't sit on my emails but I do answer when I get a text message. It would cost nothing to send a notification like Google or Yahoo do when someone is trying to access your account. A quick, "Hey, its Pizza Hut, did you order pizza in NC? Just checking because we want to make sure this is your order using your Hut Rewards.". Something to that effect... I can do nothing but get my points back, I hope, but we need to address how they got my account and my password. I leave this rating with a heavy heart because as I said we in our household love Pizza Hut. Best pan pizza hands down but situations like this shouldn't happen and Pizza Hut may actually do something if a 1 star...
